I received this car as a gift from my parents on my 16th birthday. I like its sleek design and that it is capable of storing all my CDs. I like that how it drives but am not a fan of the low miles per gallon. Although it is a beautiful first car, I feel like I should have gone with a more practical, cheaper alternative. The car still looks new despite being around 9 years old.
Story
It is not a fun story, but a memorable one. I drove off the freeway into a place where it was flooded. Although I had to get pushed to the side by firefighters, after 10 minutes the car was good and back running.
Pros
I like that it is easier to drive and navigate than a larger sedan or SUV. My favorite features it gives updates on tire pressure or when one is running low on gas, it gives an approximate estimate of the miles available. I like that the interior is nice and has a sleek design.
Cons
I do not like the navigation is not tough screen and requires turning of a central knob to operate. However, I do like that I or another person can input addresses or other destinations while not having to be at a complete stop. It is rather annoying that although the Bluetooth allows phones to be connected, only calls are allowed, but the use of Spotify or other music apps are not supported. I also don't like how the back middle seat is rather small.

2014 BMW 3 Series - Awesome power and great fuel economy.

I just purchased this car at the beginning of the month used. It was not the car I was looking for. I really wanted the 335d for the increased power. But now after owning this and driving it for almost a month, it is good. I couldn't be happier with it. It's quick and agile. It gets 40+ mpg and drives much better than my old BMW 325i from 2006, which only got 17mpg. This car has so much torque. It lifts you out of your seat during acceleration, and if it's even a little wet out, it spins the tires every chance it gets. The comfort drive or whatever it's called is amazing as well. I can control my phone including Spotify from the on board computer through the steering wheel, and all it does is connect through Bluetooth. The comfort entry system actually works extremely well unlike my ol... (more)
Story
I have only had the car for 3 weeks, but I would say the drive home gave me the biggest smile when I put my foot into it and was thoroughly shocked at the sheer power this car has.
Pros
The fuel economy. In fact, it was the whole reason for purchasing this car.
Cons
It does add a bit of extra maintenance costs. And the price, although reasonable, was a bit high.

I came from Los Angeles to purchase this car, which was a five hour drive each way. They had the car waiting there for me and it was all a quick process so I could drive back home the same day. We negotiated the price beforehand and they even lowered it more when I got there and threw in an updated navigation CD which was a big plus. They were very nice and open. I did not feel that I was being forced to purchase a car. I got exactly what I wanted.

The sales agent was not overly pushy. Sales agent was honest and did not appear to "act" as if he knew what he was talking about. If he did not know the answer to a question, he immediately asked someone who did know. He thoroughly explained the pricing and dealers bottom lines, in other words, very transparent - which was the biggest selling point.
