I just purchased this car at the beginning of the month used. It was not the car I was looking for. I really wanted the 335d for the increased power. But now after owning this and driving it for almost a month, it is good. I couldn't be happier with it. It's quick and agile. It gets 40+ mpg and drives much better than my old BMW 325i from 2006, which only got 17mpg. This car has so much torque. It lifts you out of your seat during acceleration, and if it's even a little wet out, it spins the tires every chance it gets. The comfort drive or whatever it's called is amazing as well. I can control my phone including Spotify from the on board computer through the steering wheel, and all it does is connect through Bluetooth. The comfort entry system actually works extremely well unlike my ol... (more)
Story
I have only had the car for 3 weeks, but I would say the drive home gave me the biggest smile when I put my foot into it and was thoroughly shocked at the sheer power this car has.
Pros
The fuel economy. In fact, it was the whole reason for purchasing this car.
Cons
It does add a bit of extra maintenance costs. And the price, although reasonable, was a bit high.

The 2009 BMW 329i is a quality built vehicle...Has about 235 horse power and you can feel all of it when your driving it...The car takes turns like no car I ever driven...It's sturdy and the car in well insulated, since you don't hear any of the outside noise...I have experienced no problems at 50,000 miles other than to replace the headlights and taillights... The performance again is great, breaking, takes off when you want to feel the power and the turning is great...Everything is powered except the bucket seats, which is from the sport package...It's reliable but does get terrible gas mileage...But it's a sports car and that is expected. I love coupes, since I need to feel small enough to go thru traffic but no too small that I feel like the car I'm driving isn't safe...For being... (more)
Story
One fun moment was driving home from work and being followed by some young women and having them shout out loud that they love my car and that I look great in it...It's a nice compliment
Pros
18" Rims, wide tires, attractive, feels low to the ground like a true sports car...Strong engine, nice looking interior and performs like a sports car should.
Cons
Bad gas mileage, no spare tire since it comes with run flats...No tools to change a tire, must be purchased separately or for extra...Expensive to change the oil compared to Japanese cars and expensive to replace parts like the brakes.

I came from Los Angeles to purchase this car, which was a five hour drive each way. They had the car waiting there for me and it was all a quick process so I could drive back home the same day. We negotiated the price beforehand and they even lowered it more when I got there and threw in an updated navigation CD which was a big plus. They were very nice and open. I did not feel that I was being forced to purchase a car. I got exactly what I wanted.

The sales agent was not overly pushy. Sales agent was honest and did not appear to "act" as if he knew what he was talking about. If he did not know the answer to a question, he immediately asked someone who did know. He thoroughly explained the pricing and dealers bottom lines, in other words, very transparent - which was the biggest selling point.
