The car is, essentially, your standard sedan but with lots of luxury bells and whistles that makes you feel like you are in a true luxury car. The outside and appearance is on par with cars twice the price, but that being said, you suffer a bit in the performance and power category, as you are on par with far less expensive vehicles on that front. Overall though it is a great choice for anyone wanting to look professional and decently high status at work or at school without breaking the budget.
Story
I love driving 2222, a long and extremely hilly and curvy road here in Austin. The amazing handling of the car makes the drive so much easier than in previous vehicles.
Pros
The vehicle itself is absolutely beautiful and looks not only sport, but clean and professional. Every aspect of the interior is the same - comfortable leather, heated seats, and just generally great looks and luxury styling. The A/C, power windows and power seats are extremely easy to use and hold up well under extreme use. Fuel efficiency is also quite good in this vehicle - I average about 24 MPG, which, while not hybrid-level, is well above most sports cars. Also is super easy to clean with the leather and wood panels, I spill drinks often and the car has maintained its nice interior. ... (more)
Cons
The car lacks a lot of the technical abilities other luxury cars do, namely the power. I believe the car is around 200 HP, leaving the actual power behind it being not much higher than a standard Camry or Civic or something like that. I can tell when trying to go up hills or keep up on toll roads that it isn't quite up there with my dad's Lexus or other, more expensive, luxury vehicles I have driven. Lastly it doesn't have a ton of storage space, particularly the trunk. It seems exceptionally small, even compared to Corollas and Maximas.

Overall this vehicle is a joy, both excellent to drive and pleasing to the eye. It handles very well and is quite low to the ground, which I prefer. I have found it to be very fuel efficient for such an old car, even in suburban and urban areas with lots of stop and go traffic. The convertible top folds down quickly and with ease, though it isn't fully automatic as you have to give it a nudge at a certain point. Even after 160,000 miles it still runs beautifully; I have no trouble starting it. Unfortunately the key sticks sometimes, so locking the car can take longer than it should simply because the lock won't turn. However, this is not much of an issue because if the drivers door will not lock, locking the trunk will lock all doors too. The key also sticks when trying to turn the ign... (more)

My sister and I like to play Disney music loudly when the convertible top is down, driving around and singing.
Pros
My favorite feature of this vehicle is the appearance and the convertible top. The shape of the body is distinctly less rounded than some of the newer models, which I find to look classic and appealing. The convertible top allows me to take advantage of nice weather while still having a convenient and practical vehicle. When pressing on the gas pedal, you can tell the vehicle is well built and sturdy.
Cons
Since BMW is a generally expensive make, simple repairs are often more expensive than necessary. I have to clean the back window before putting the convertible top down in order to ensure that the window will not get scratched by dirt folding into it. The heat and air conditioning take some time to really get going, which in general is not a problem but can be frustrating during times of extreme hot/cold.
