Allentown, PA Driving Tips
Sometimes it gets very congested so expect traffic, and also be aware of your surroundings. There are a lot of one way streets in Allentown, and if you do not pay attention, you could end up in a tricky situation. Also, speed limits tend to change quickly, so it is another thing to keep in mind.
Allentown, PA Buying Tips
The auto-mile is a great place to buy a car. It is located on Lehigh street, and has a dealership for just about any brand car you are looking to buy. If you are from the Lehigh Valley/ Allentown area and are looking to buy a new or used car, I would suggest trying out this location first. Just a few dealerships include, Infiniti, Honda, Hyundai, Kia, Acura, Mercedes Benz, Porsche and Audi. There are also used car dealerships on this strip.
Favorite driving memory
I like driving my car in this city because there is a lot going on in city. Allentown is a fairly major city in the Tri-state area. I like driving around with my music playing and my sunroof open, and feeling the fresh air. Although Allentown City is pretty congested with traffic, there are areas where you can just cruise, such as the West End of Allentown sometimes referred to as Upper Macungie, My favorite memory is learning how to drive in Allentown. I learned how to drive in a place called the Lehigh Valley Parkway. It is the perfect place for beginners because it is not congested and has a low speed limit. My dad taught me how to drive here and make turns and U-turns. It is one of my favorite driving memories.
Favorite road
Lehigh Street-off of I-78. It has many, many car dealerships. You can browse the inventory of the car dealerships while driving. The location of the road that is great is called the auto-mile.

Allentown, PA Driving Tips
One tip I would give drivers driving in this city would be too slow down. The speed limit around this area is usually 45 mph. Many drivers choose to go about 60 which takes away the essence of the drive. I feel like going too fast only allows the driver to focus on just rushing to get where they have to go.
Allentown, PA Buying Tips
Where I live we have dealerships but if one is on a budget, it is recommended to visit craiglist.com. If he or she is not on a tight budget there is about three or four reputable car dealerships about eleven miles from where I live.
Favorite driving memory
I live by Allentown, in a small town named Mahanoy city. My most favorite memory was when I went to pick up my new dog at the Allentown airport. I loved the scenery! I am actually from New York City where I am used many lights, buildings, and many, many people. The sizes of the houses and the amount of acres people owned amazed not to mention the greenery around me. I would love to make a trip to Allentown again soon.
Favorite road
Tuscarora road. I love driving to one of my favorite state parks. I drive to the Tuscarora state park which is less than 20 minutes away from home. Unlike driving through high ways and busy streets, the drive to the park is a very smooth ride considering the narrow roads. Leaves no room for pedestrians which means no traffic lights! Makes the trip enjoyable, gas efficient and fast. There is actually two different routes to get there, I choose the scenic route. Love the naturesque surrounding.
