West Jordan, UT Driving Tips
Make sure to obey all posted speed limit signs and other traffic signs. Police officers in this city are vigilant and there are signs posted reminding drivers that it is against the law to text and drive.
West Jordan, UT Buying Tips
There are no car dealerships in West Jordan so unless you are looking to purchase a used car from a private seller, you should travel to Sandy or Salt Lake to buy a car.

I like to drive with the top down on my convertible through the west side of the city. The Oquirrh mountains are to the west and the Wasatch mountains are to the east. When the weather is mild, especially in the fall or spring, it is a little piece of quiet with a rural feel in the middle of a fai

7800 South is a main road through the center of the city. It starts at the river bottom on the far east of West Jordan and ends at the foothills of the Oquirrh mountains. Heading west from Bangerter Highway, the road becomes less crowded and the mountains in the distance are beautiful. There is a

little bit of development along the way but the feeling becomes less like a city and more like the small rural town it used to be.
West Jordan, UT Driving Tips
Go close to the speed limit as there seems to be a lot of police patrolling the main roads. There is basically everything a person would need in just a few miles in every direction.

I would go to the Automall in Sandy just east of I-15 on 10400 South. There are blocks of new and used cars of every type in that area.

Driving home from my late part-time retail job during the Christmas Retail Madness. It was snowing and it was hard to see the road at midnight. I was so grateful that I live only 9 miles from that job! I arrived home safely and without any drama. I had recently moved from 40 miles away and driv

9000 South

Because it's close to my house and it's a fairly easy/quick way to get to the other side (east) of the valley where I work. It's much better than the alternative of 7200 South which seems to be more congested and doesn't have direct access to I-15.
West Jordan, UT Driving Tips
If the roads are snowy or icy, I would recommend leaving early if you need to go anywhere or stay off the roads, if you can, if the weather is particularly bad.
West Jordan, UT Buying Tips
I think it is important to remember that it does snow in the winter and sometimes roads are not cleared for a while. I would try and buy a car that handles well in the snow or has traction control or four wheel drive. Luckily, living here, there are a lot of car dealerships all around to choose from

I like that there are so many places to go around this city. My family will often times just get in the car and go driving and we always find something new to discover. I love driving this highway because it is less busy and has a great view of the mountains. The freeway and other highways are always a lot more crowded and take longer to drive to. My family really does not like crowds and traffic, so it's fun to just take a drive and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
