Chevy Blazer: Worth every penny
The first thing you will notice about the blazer is its seemingly simple design. It is not a car that is meant to be flashy. Honestly, it is rather boring too look at. There is nothing special about the design of the vehicle. I personally didn't mind it, but there is no getting around the fact that the styling is rather dull. Inside the car, however, things begin to look up. It was actually very comfortable to drive. For me, being 6 foot 3, I usually have trouble fitting into SUV type vehicles comfortably. This was not the case with the blazer. There was plenty of room for me to fit in, and the seats were quite comfortable. Some of the material covering the dashboard felt cheap, but that is easily forgiven. There is room to carry five people, and the rear seats can be folded down for substantial cargo space, a feature which I used many times to haul materials to my various jobs. When I first began using the car, I noticed strange noises that seemed to come from under the car. This worried me greatly, and I did a great number of personal tests and brought it to auto shops to get an opinion. Even with these strange noises, I, and all auto shops have noticed no problems with performance of the vehicle. It has run like a dream from day one. That being said, the gas mileage leaves some to be desired, pulling 20 mpg at best. I do most routine maintenance myself, so I can not really speak to maintenance and repair costs, but anytime I took it in I never felt cheated. The car is very fun to drive, and is very good to have around in deep snow. The four wheel drive works like a dream, and has gotten me out of many a tight spot. Acceleration with this car is a problem, mainly because it burns so much gas to get it going. Once it is going however, the car handles well. Braking and steering have always been exceptionally responsive, and I have always felt safe driving this vehicle. All in all, I would recommend this vehicle to anyone who needs to haul things on a regular basis, but maybe doesn't need the heavy duty capacity of a larger truck. It fits perfectly into this niche, and has served me well.

Reliable, rugged and stylish.
My Blazer has been used and abused, and it still just keeps going. I had a Blazer before, and enjoyed it so much that when I was in the market for another vehicle, I decided to purchase another Blazer. I had a pretty rough accident in my previous one and not only did everyone in the vehicle come out of it unharmed, but we drove away from the accident even though the blazers steering and wheel assembly set-up had been broken pretty bad.
