The first thing that I really loved about my Honda CRV was the size of the windows. My vehicle is very airy and spacious and I have great visibility throughout the whole vehicle, which makes it fun as well as safe to drive. The vehicle was not in the shop very often, and I have put over 170,000 miles on it so far. It has been in the shop for extensive repairing three times in the four years that I have had it, and the repairs were very expensive. I had to replace the fan belt, the radiator, and a few other very important things. But other than those few major problems it has just needed basic maintenance. My car's seats are not quite as comfortable as I would like, they are a bit too hard. The car does not do well at all with acceleration or with inclines, compared to other cars on the... (more)
Pros
Wide windows and great visibility throughout the car, doesn't break down very often, does very well at inspections despite being fifteen years old, I like the steering wheel configuration, two rows of seats and a back storage compartment, seats easily fold down for transporting things, car is light and has good fuel efficiency for an SUV, simple and not fussy, looks compact on the outside yet feels spacious on the inside, I have driven many miles on it (over 170,000) and it's still doing pretty well, goes fast on flat terrain yet for the most part tends to stick itself below 65 mph tops un... (more)
Cons
Every so often, needs big and costly repairs (new fan belt, some transmission work, new radiator, etc.), seats are not very comfortable, electrical wiring issues such as radio going out and only the driver's side window rolls down automatically, horrible acceleration and speed maintenance on even the smallest inclines, shakes and rattles a bit when traveling above 65 mph.

Yes, I agree the Aztec is definitely an UGLY car. However I wouldn't trade mine for anything! My husband is a first responder and no matter the weather our Aztec gets him to work. Whether it's soccer practice, horse back riding, a trip to the park with the kids, or an unexpected overnight stay our Aztec can handle it all.
Story
My husband and I went to a friends house for a party and spent the night on an air mattress in the back of the Aztec. It was perfect under the stars and all quiet around us, but we found out the hard way that we forgot to undo the child locks on the back doors, climbing over the seats to get out was pretty funny!
Pros
The space in the back could have fit a 3rd row of seats, instead the designers left the open space for storage and it's come in handy so many times! If you remove the bench seat in the back of the car you can lay down a full size mattress in the back of the car to sleep for the night We can fit our large lab plus all of our kids sports equipment in the back with room to spare. The center console doubles as a cooler! Large, deep cup holders with removable inserts that allow for large and small beverages.
Cons
Ugly design. The design of the hood catches a LOT of fallen leaves which get stuck down inside and it's a pain to try to dig them out. As a pro/con the fin on the back of the Aztec cuts right through your line of view out of the back window. The positive to it is that it blocks the headlights of tailgating cars. The back hatch is VERY VERY heavy and ours has never functioned correctly in that it won't always pop open the first time you try and if you're on a hill, just forget about it unless you have your hand right there to lift it as soon as you push the button. There is not a center ove... (more)

The salesmen were professional and knowledgeable. Most importantly, the salesmen were not overly aggressive. They let me shop around and find the car I wanted. Once I found the vehicle they quickly assisted me in the completing the necessary paperwork. The whole transaction was smooth and painless.
