I was interested in buying this make/model of car after driving one as a rental car. It struck me then as roomy and easy to drive and, most importantly, as getting good gas mileage. I bought this model used with low mileage, and I have been quite happy with it! It's not an exciting car -- but it is a solid performer that has all of the aspects I noticed in the rental car. It is roomier than one might expect upon seeing it from the outside. I can take four teenagers with no complaints. The trunk is large too. (Much bigger than my Sonic!) The Cruze gets good gas mileage and has required no repairs (aside from regular maintenance) in the year I have had it. (I would have loved to get a hybrid, but those are so expensive, and this gets also-good gas mileage at a much lower price.) It seems safe -- visibility is good, and I had no trouble with it on rainy or icy roads. I don't love the "champagne" color, but it's fine. The sound system is solid, and I appreciate the USB port. This is a car that I will happily pass on to my daughter in a few years with no worries. Again -- not flashy but a solid purchase that I in no way regret.

When I first got this vehicle it was great but after four years it's starting to fall apart. It only has 65000 miles on it yet it's driving like a car with 165000 miles. It rides rough. It's been in the shop twice for major repairs that I paid major cash for. Every time I turn around there is a recall on it that needs done. The body of it is easily dinged and dented. I will say that for the first two years it was excellent and cheap, but not anymore.
