I have never owned a foreign car before and boy was I missing out. This car not only gets 40+ mpg, the ride is like rolling on a cushion of air. As well, I drive over 50 miles per day so the Bose Sound adds a quality to the car that is unparalleled to any other sound system I have had before. You would think a car of this size would struggle to get up and go off the line, but not the Mazda3. It has all the pep in its step any car enthusiast would need.
Story
My wife hates that I listen to old school gangster rap, she always jokes that she can hear Snoop Dog coming down the street.
Pros
The blind spot radar system is a nice addition to the vehicle and gives you a sense of security when you are cruising down the freeway. I can find myself getting almost lazy with my mirrors in any other vehicle.
Cons
There are two things with this vehicle that consistently bother me: 1.) Road Noise - Sometimes it feels like you are sitting behind the wing of a small aircraft waiting to takeoff on a runway with the wind roaring in your ears. 2.) Mazda's buggy, laggy, and otherwise kooky infotainment system. They are on version 50 of the software? Are you kidding me? Buyer beware if you are a techy. This radio and Nav system will find a way to disappoint.

I've owned a 2012 Mazda 3 for about three years now, and I'm extremely pleased with it. The gas mileage is unbeatable. I get approximately 35mpg on average, which translates into huge savings. The car looks great too, even though it was relatively inexpensive. I got the option with Bose speakers, which have really added to the quality of the car. The bass is pretty good. I also love how easily it handles; I can turn on a dime.
Story
I used this car to take my girlfriend out on our first date to Cleveland. It was probably 2-3 hours of driving, but we rode in comfort.
Pros
Turn radius is excellent. Turning into tight parking spots, quickly correcting course, and moving around in an agile way are all very easy. The brakes are sensitive, which has been both a pro and a con. The gas mileage is excellent for a non-hybrid.
Cons
I believe the "range" calculator, which estimates how far you are able to go on your current tank of gas, often overestimates the actual number of miles you end up going. This difference is sometimes significant. I wish it had more trunk space and more space for backseat passengers, but that's to be expected with a smaller car.

The customer service was absolutely wonderful. The car dealer worked with me and had me in the car the same day. He was so kind. I called him and asked him to hold the car for me for the day so that I would have time to get there and pay for it because it was far from home, and he did. He was just awesome. I believe his name was Henrick. There was nothing wrong with the car, and everything was just awesome. Even after we took it to our mechanic. Everything was as it was supposed to be.

They had the car that I had been looking for, when no other dealerships did. I was looking for a specific car and no one else had it! Plus people actually CAME OUT and tried to sell me a car. I went to at least 5-8 other dealerships and not ONE salesman came out of the building to greet me. When I bought my last vehicle they basically ran out hoping for a sale, it was SO WEIRD to not have someone harass me the second I drove into the parking lot. So when I came here and they came out to greet me AND had my car I was like HELLLL YEAH.
