Great car for your first.
The HHR isn't one of my favorite cars -- more something with wheels in reality. The car isn't the most sturdy or feature-rich, and the luxury features it can have just don't compete.

Tired of retro
I was initially attracted to the retro look of the car. It has running boards and chrome bling on the mirrors and door handles. The inside, however, is fairly plain and plastic. The only upgrade from other trim levels I can figure out is the radio, which has features I don't actually use.
The engine is powerful for the size of car, but loud. The transmission seems to search up and down more than other cars I have owned.
