It is a "retirement gold" (paint color) Chevy Impala. It had almost 40,000 miles on it when I got it. It gets good gas mileage for a V6 - I have estimated a combined 23-25mpg at least, since I do most of my driving as non-highway driving since I am a pizza delivery driver. I have driven the heck out of the car for the past 2 years and 2 months - I have put over 45,000 miles on it during that time. The only thing I have had to replace is the brakes, and that was after the car had more than 60,000 miles on it, assuming the previous owner never changed the brakes.
Story
This is the first car I ever slept overnight in. When we were camping my girlfriend left the window to our tent open, and, after an afternoon pop-up thunderstorm, the thing got totally soaked and totally unfit to sleep in. Because we wanted to stay and see the meteor shower that was supposed to go on that night, we decided to stay in the car. I felt better the next morning sleeping in the ca... (more)
Pros
It has decent pickup - there has never been a time on the highway, trying to merge or pass someone, that I thought "Man, I really wish I had more power." Fairly roomy - I have taken it on lots of long road trips and have always been comfortable and had ample room for our stuff.
Cons
I drive the car a lot for work (delivery driver) and the connector to the battery always comes loose, so the car won't start every once in a while. I know the problem now and I just tighten up a little bolt, but when I didn't know what was going on it was very stressful.

I have purchased and killed many cars, but this one is here to stay. The get-up-and-go coupled with the sleek black exterior makes me feel like a race car driver. The leather interior is easy to clean and adds to the high-class feel of the car.
Story
This car is the family car and we take it on all of our out of town trips. The kids sing in the back seat and we play road games.
Pros
My kids love the sun roof and I love being able to have the air flow through the car without messing up my hair the way that open windows do. There is plenty of leg room for my very tall family and plenty of storage space for CDs and emergency pop tarts for those rush around mornings. I am amazed by the impressive trunk space; it is much larger than any of my previous vehicles.
Cons
This winter has been very cold and my car did not always start. We jumped it a few times, but it shut back off almost right away. Once it warmed up a bit the car started running again just fine.

They worked with me with my budget and wants. They weren't pushy at all and let me browse at my own pace.
