I have had this vehicle for the past 5 years while in college. I bought it used with 65,000 miles on it. There has never been any trouble with the car since I purchased it. Love the all leather seats that are also heated. Wonderful having the sunroof as well. Good running and quiet car to have on your side.
Pros
My favorite aspect of the vehicle are the seats. The seats are comfortable, leather, and heated. I highly enjoy having the sunroof for warm days. It allows for maximum air flow through my car to help cool down without running the AC. The trunk is huge and can hold a ton of stuff. When moving to college I packed 20+ boxes in the trunk and it all fit comfortably without smashing my stuff. There are never any mechanical / maintenance issues I need to take care of which saves me a ton of money. The final thing I highly enjoy about having this car is the sound system / CD player. Very high soun... (more)
Cons
The only negative thing about this car is how common it is. Sometimes I like to have a unique car that stands out from the crowd, however I see this car everywhere and in the same dull / boring grey color.

The car has really stood the test of time. There is over 200,000 miles on it and it is still going strong.
Story
I get stopped all the time outside of stores in the parking lot by people asking me what color the car is. From one angle it looks blue, but from the other angle is looks purple.
Pros
The car is very roomy and has a large trunk. The leather seats and the rest of the interior is very well made, looks expensive and has stood the test of time. We have had to do very little repairs on the car in the past ten years. The color of my car is laser blue. This was an unusual color. You do not see very many of them. I have gotten a lot of compliments on the color of the car.
Cons
From the very beginning there has been a banging in the steering wheel when you turn it. I have had it to the dealership several times and it has not been fixed. My own personal mechanic states that this is normal on the Impala. There is something about the rod going down from the steering wheel. It is in two pieces and there is a boot around the joint that is filled with grease. This does not last long, the grease wears away and the knocking will start all over again. There is nothing that can be done. It is poor design.

They worked me with even though I didn't have perfect credit. The car I got through them was better than I'd expected to be able to afford, and they gave me the best deal out of all the places I went to.

They were willing to overlook technical financial approval procedure by accepting more as a down payment and just using general good judgment in interviewing me and asking a few questions that were used to gauge my willingness and feasibility of paying them back. Most dealerships are lazy and follow a rigid approval process that omits risk but costs them potential customers.
