Reliable car with no major issues.
I've been using this car for over 8 years and it's been great for me. For a while I had a long commute and was putting over 600 miles on the car per week. Right now the car has over 140,000 miles, yet it runs great! The only reasons I've had to take the car to the mechanic have been minor for some basic upkeep and cheap fixes. Despite the amount of miles I've put on the car it runs very well. I haven't noticed any major drop in speed or performance in the 8 years I've been driving it. It's a fairly large car, a full size sedan, and it's heavy. Despite its size and weight the car handles extremely well and is fast. Visibility is no issue; the blind spots in the car are minimal. So with the handling and visibility this car is a pleasure to drive. Even though it's big the fuel efficiency is above average. I can get about 24 miles per gallon so I only have to fill up my tank every other week or so. I live in the northeast, so winter performance is extremely important to me. I've only experienced problems in the most extreme weather conditions. There has been some slight skidding on ice, but that's about it. One knock I have against the car is the heating system. Maybe it's because I've used it so much since purchasing the car, but I'm currently having some annoyances. The rear defroster no longer works, and it takes a pretty long time for the car to warm up after first starting. Throughout the years the interior of the car has held up both physically, and in terms of style. The sleek dashboard and seats are timeless and when you're inside you don't feel like the car is 12 years old. Overall I've been extremely pleased with this car, and my annoyances have been minor.

Don't bother buying a Chevy Impala.
I purchased a Chevy Impala and it's one of the worst decisions of my life. It already had a bad battery at the dealership, so they replaced it for us before we took it home. About a month later it was having more problems, so we brought it back to the dealership we had purchased it from and they told us that the transmission was shot. It just kept having more problems that we have had to fix since.
