I've been using this car for over 8 years and it's been great for me. For a while I had a long commute and was putting over 600 miles on the car per week. Right now the car has over 140,000 miles, yet it runs great! The only reasons I've had to take the car to the mechanic have been minor for some basic upkeep and cheap fixes. Despite the amount of miles I've put on the car it runs very well. I haven't noticed any major drop in speed or performance in the 8 years I've been driving it. It's a fairly large car, a full size sedan, and it's heavy. Despite its size and weight the car handles extremely well and is fast. Visibility is no issue; the blind spots in the car are minimal. So with the handling and visibility this car is a pleasure to drive. Even though it's big the fuel efficiency ... (more)
Story
We used this car for a road trip to upstate New York for my friends' wedding. It was about a 6 hour drive with very few stops, but this car didn't have any issues along the way. If anything, it was comfortable sitting for 6 hours.
Pros
Great handling despite its size. Durability - over 140,000 miles and it still runs great. Fuel efficiency - it's not a hybrid, however it does get great gas mileage.
Cons
It's weight means it can be slow and difficult on hills. I've had issues with the heating system. The rear defroster has stopped working. The stereo system can be buggy; the AUX cord will sometimes not recognize my phone.

I purchased a Chevy Impala and it's one of the worst decisions of my life. It already had a bad battery at the dealership, so they replaced it for us before we took it home. About a month later it was having more problems, so we brought it back to the dealership we had purchased it from and they told us that the transmission was shot. It just kept having more problems that we have had to fix since.
Story
We would always drive to my aunt and uncle's place during the holidays, and we would take the back roads to be able to see some awesome views along the way.
Pros
It had a pretty decent sound system that was installed by the previous owners. We need a car for our jobs, so I guess a positive is that we at least have a running car for the time being.
Cons
This car had a lot of cons ever since we purchased it. The battery was already dead before we even took it off the lot, the driver's seat was broken and could not be adjusted, the middle console is busted, a month after buying the car the transmission failed, the engine still has a hard time if we have to go up a steep hill, and now we need to weld the bolts back on to the exhaust and muffler. Also not a great car if you're trying to drive in the snow.
