2008 Chevrolet Impala - A must have
I have had very few issues with my 2008 Chevrolet Impala SS. The problems I did have related to two recalls which I was made aware of through Chevy and they handled the issue in a timely manner. The only complaint I have experienced unrelated to recall is the keyless remote start. When the vehicle reached 100,000 miles the remote entry became sensitive and only works when it wants. The pick up and go on this model is AMAZING. The interior is very modern and sharp. The engine purrs beautifully. I honestly am having a hard time trying to think of cons to this particular model. Although I find that to be a good thing.
Story
Taking it to 100 in under ten seconds
Pros
The speed. The quick pick up. The amazing handling and smooth ride. I really liked the remote entry in the beginning. I could turn on the car and cool it off without physically getting in.
Cons
The failing remote start is the only con I can think of. I cannot think of cons to this model which I believe is a good thing.
2012 Chevrolet Impala - Great car, excellent performance for a family sedan!
The 2012 Impala is a reliable and fast family sedan. The build quality and crispness of the entire car is excellent. The 3.5 liter v6 has 300 horsepower and you can feel it every time you step on the gas pedal!
Story
Loading up the family for a trip, the Impala has plenty of room for long-ranged adventures!
Pros
The ride comfort of the Impala is comparable to a Cadillac, smooth and crisp ride and good steering. This car didn't have the Bluetooth option or leather seats, yet has ample luxuries.
Cons
The only cons are the cheap air conditioner blend door actuators. After purchase I had to replace three of them. All three had the same gear failure that led to a horrible clicking sound from multiple points in the front of the vehicle.
