1995 Chevrolet S-10 - Great old reliable work truck.
My old truck is a beast. Actually looks pretty modern for a 1995. Paint is still good. Seats are still in good condition. Driver seat is comfortable. Great gas mileage with the little 4 cyl. Also being a stick also helped that. Pretty quiet smooth ride. No grinding at all while shifting gears. Nothing but general oil changes were done. Although it did fail emissions once, that was a easy fix. Not too much power being a 4cyl but still fun to drive due to being a stick. Always felt safe especially when I take my cap off there are no blind spots. Pretty good turning radius for a truck as well.
Story
Taking the cap off for the first time to haul a HUGE 60 inch rear display tv that was a huge pain to carry. Then ended up not working!
Pros
Gas mileage is very popular in my book. I typically get upper 20's on the highway and low to mid 20's in the city. Also I really like the windows on the extended cab portion that pop open that gives me a nice breeze when hot. Also the truck bed itself is ample to carry around things I need to.
Cons
The extended cab area is nice for putting extra things, however very uncomfortable for passengers even though there are two drop down seats with seatbelts.
2012 Chevrolet S-10 - Best Truck Purchase Ever
I love this Truck! It has far surpassed any and all expectations that I had for my purchase. I have driven it over 45,000 miles in just under 2 years. The interior is easy to clean and easy to maintain. It is made of good quality materials and sure to hold up for as long as I own the vehicle, which I plan to be a very long time. Being the mother of 2 young kids it is important that I have something that not only looks good but that is reliable as well.
Story
When we first got the truck my husband and I decided to see how it would work off road. It was so much fun, we were out in the woods wheeling around and just having a good time. The truck really could take a beating.
