2012 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 - Proud, strong, tough
The height off of the road I love. My Silverado stands tall on the road and makes me feel safe. Also, the width of the vehicle and the length. You feel surrounded by metal and that you can drive right through a cement wall. The interior is a little cheap, but the drivetrain feels solid, so that's all I care about.
Story
Putting the pedal to the metal under any tunnel I go through, so I can hear the sound of bald eagles and America.
Pros
The 5.3-liter engine has a lot of power and sounds great with an exhaust. The vehicle really moves when you press down on the gas. The wheel size is large and takes in bumps, pot holes, and uneven terrain with ease. The brakes are also very powerful in any kind of emergency situations.
Cons
The interior is very basic and is pretty much constructed of plastic. The doors can be damages easily when removing the panels. If you even as much as touch the material on the door with a screwdriver, you can expect to have a large gouge taken out of deep mark pressed into the rubber/plastic. The sound system is subpar, as well. The audio jack broke after a few years, as it is plastic and weak.
