Trust, reliable, few problems, great in the snow
I got the car from my mom when she upgraded sometime in 2010, and from my experience the car runs great. As a kid, when it was new, I don't think we ever had a single problem with it. The car runs reliably, and that's one of the primary reasons that my parents 'gifted' it to me. They knew it was safe. They also wanted something for me that would run well in the snow, since we live in the northeast, so it was a natural choice. I've driven it in a snowstorm before, as well as backed it out of a very long and heavily snow covered driveway. It simply feels safe when you drive it on the road. It's slightly too big, and sometimes I have trouble parking it at my college's garage, but I wouldn't trade it's size in for anything. Having driven vans and other large vehicles for work, I can also say that the Trail Blazer doesn't feel like it is susceptible to rolling either. Miles per gallon is decent, I think, for an old SUV. TL;DR: Overall, since I've had had it, I've run into very few problems and its great. Would definitely recommend the purchase.

Overall, it has been a very reliable vehicle. I like the size and performance. I would like it if the MPG was a little better. I really can't complain though. I haven't had any major problems to date.

Solid SUV
Having now owned my Trailblazer for several years, I can say that it is a very well built vehicle. The paint has remained shiny. The body panels are solid and free of rust. The wheels have remained in great condition. The interior fits together well with no rattles. The material has held up well with little sign of wear. Mechanically I have had very few trips to the service department. Regular maintenance is all I have had to worry about. Fuel economy isn't the greatest. I am actually getting fewer MPGs than I was told I could expect. I was also disappointed to see that the vehicle was completely discontinued by GM. This could cause difficulty in finding replacement parts in the future. Though I have been extremely happy with the vehicle, I am feeling a little strung out since being discontinued.
