Used Hyundai Sonata for Sale

The 2005 Hyundai Sonata has been a very decent car to drive and one of my best decisions I have ever made to purchase. I enjoyed the Sonata’s handling ability when it came to rugged roads filled with cracks and craters. Most of the time I would not be able to feel a thing. Also, the vehicle could accelerate to 80 miles per hour very easily for the first five years I owned it. Unfortunately, the Sonata’s acceleration ability slowly started to dwindle to where it would take it a while to accelerate. When I purchased the car the first thing that attracted me to it was the style. A semi-long car with unique headlights was the kind of car I was looking for at the time. For eight years the car performed very well. I only had two or three issues along the way for that eight year span, however, last year the 2005 Hyundai Sonata broke down at least ten times in 2014. It started with the radiator. Once the radiator broke, both engine coils broke, then the brakes went bad, the battery died, the O2 sensor, and the crankshaft position sensor went bad. All of these issues happened within a 7 month span. I literally felt I was in the shop every other weekend. However, once the crankshaft position sensor was repaired last December I have not had a problem with the car since. I routinely go in for oil changes and ask the mechanics to check for anything that may need repair. Accept for that major bump down the road the 2005 Hyundai Sonata has been very reliable for getting me from destination A to destination B.

I purchased this vehicle nearly four years ago with very little miles on it. I appreciated the affordable price and attractive appearance. The car operated very well when I had a short commute to work; however, after changing jobs and acquiring a longer commute, issues began to quickly arise, prematurely. I have received multiple recalls, from ones as simple as the back door handle failing to serious issues such that can cause unexpected acceleration. Since these issues, the car has never operated the same. It is no longer a smooth ride, no matter how much maintenance is performed. One positive was the roomy layout, which was convenient when I needed to install a car seat and begin packing baby gear.

Hyundai has improved their car quality in the past years and I am in love with this car's features.
