The Old Yet Reliable Sonata
The 2005 Hyundai Sonata has been a very decent car to drive and one of my best decisions I have ever made to purchase. I enjoyed the Sonata’s handling ability when it came to rugged roads filled with cracks and craters. Most of the time I would not be able to feel a thing. Also, the vehicle could accelerate to 80 miles per hour very easily for the first five years I owned it. Unfortunately, the Sonata’s acceleration ability slowly started to dwindle to where it would take it a while to accelerate. When I purchased the car the first thing that attracted me to it was the style. A semi-long car with unique headlights was the kind of car I was looking for at the time. For eight years the car performed very well. I only had two or three issues along the way for that eight year span, however, last year the 2005 Hyundai Sonata broke down at least ten times in 2014. It started with the radiator. Once the radiator broke, both engine coils broke, then the brakes went bad, the battery died, the O2 sensor, and the crankshaft position sensor went bad. All of these issues happened within a 7 month span. I literally felt I was in the shop every other weekend. However, once the crankshaft position sensor was repaired last December I have not had a problem with the car since. I routinely go in for oil changes and ask the mechanics to check for anything that may need repair. Accept for that major bump down the road the 2005 Hyundai Sonata has been very reliable for getting me from destination A to destination B.

Great Exterior - Interior Lacking
I've owned this car for 8 years now. It currently has 90,000 miles on it and is still running strong. Only had to buy one battery since receiving the car. The body is holding up amazing. I did have someone back into me a year ago and only got a minor scratch on the bumper. I wish I could say that about the interior of the car. The interior started falling apart within the first year. The visors are broken, the middle console has fallen apart. Just horrible. It's just myself and my daughter that use the car, so it's not like it's getting a beat down from young children.

Sonata
I love my Sonata. I have had a bad back and hip for years and this is the first car I can take on longer drives where I feel comfortable. I love the rear view parking camera, as I live with on-street parking. I am able to parallel park my car with no problem, even in the tightest of spots. I love the size of the car, it is very roomy. My convertible car seat fits nicely in the back seat with out effecting the front seat. I love the way the car drives and handles in the snow. I love the efficiency of the gas mileage.
