A nice basic vehicle for families on a budget
This car is a nice basic van for a young family on a budget. We purchased it right before our third child was born, and it had 70k miles and was about eight years old at the time. We have put on about 50k more and have had minimal maintenance completed on the van. The battery has been replaced twice and the tires replaced twice. Power steering column was changed at 115k, and the A/C went out at 105k. While the miles are pretty low for having these issues, the age of the vehicle makes the repairs fairly expected. We enjoy the comfort of the van with the kids, and it has a mirror that pops down so you can see them easier in the back. We tend to keep one bucket seat out of the car and just use the back bench seat and one bucket seat. This allows us to buckle them in easier and room to put coats on and take off in the winter, as we all know car seats and winter coats aren't compatible!! We feel we have gotten good value for the money with the purchase of this vehicle.

Good family car
The Hyundai Entourage is a good family car. We can safely fit 5 car safety seats in the back seats. The trunk provides a decent amount of storage and the backseats can be folded down to increase storage capacity. The automatic doors are not reliable, and we have found that to be true from others who own this make of car as well. It has mostly just needed routine maintenance, but it has occasionally needed more expensive repairs as it has aged. It is a great car for long road trips. We really like the size of the car as a growing family, but I would not recommend it to anyone with many older children as it would not provide adequate leg and seat room to larger passengers--especially when filled to capacity. Driving wise it is excellent, but in terms of the quality of the car, parts not so much. The door handles on the sliding doors are not very high quality and break off the car with alarming ease. For shorter adults, such as myself, the shape of the front seats are somewhat awkward and force the body into a posture that cannot be remedied by adjusting the seat back. This could be a drawback for someone who spends a fair amount of time in the car.

Spacious Family Van
This car is fantastic. It is a large van with single seats, all with armrests. This car is spacious, with enough leg room for everyone. All seats can be reclined, or even hidden deep into the floor to accommodate large items for storage. The AC/Heating unit is great, with heated seats. The radio is great, with an excellent sound system, cassette, and a 5-CD changer. There is a DVD player in the backseat for the kids to enjoy on long rides. The car drives and shifts smoothly and I never had to spend much money for repairs. The gas tank is huge and a full tank would last a long time.
