This is a excellent little SUV, It handles well on the road there is no shaking or vibration when I take it to a high speed. I have driven it at a high speed of 85 plus and I did not detect any rattles or noises for it. I have driven this truck for two years and about 30 miles per year. I had to get some minor repairs but it was mostly wear and tar. When I first got the vehicle I had some problems with the head lights going out and once or twice with the brake lights. The electrical system is somewhat off the clock and airbag light do not work a 100 percent but I can live with it. This SUV seating sets high up and is comfortable but it is not enough room for long leg passenger's. It also has a middle seat belt that comes from the top rear of the vehicle that is a little awkward I don'... (more)
Story
Driving the Suv was a joy going to DC from Virginia Beach. I held it's own on the road, it kept up well too high speed traffic in steady driving and stop and go traffic. I did very good in changing lanes and accelerating properly. We had no problems at all and it was smooth sailing.
Pros
The span of it the width that is a perfect balance. The performance and the style of it.
Cons
The overhead middle seat belt.

My 2013 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport is a great CUV. I do small projects with furniture and crafts, and the hatch and rear area are a great size for transporting small projects and supplies. I've owned the car for nearly two years with no problems and a high level of satisfaction.
Story
The most fun memories I have in my car at this point are small road trips around the East Texas area. We live in a rural area that requires us to travel any time we want to go to the city. The car is zippy and maneuvers easily in both environments!
Pros
Although it does have a small engine, it has held up well. We even took it from east Texas to upstate Colorado in January, and it handled nicely going up the mountain. It wasn't sluggish like I figured it would be. There was some slipping on the ice, but that was expected because the tires on the car weren't designed for that terrain. The pilot's seat is very comfortable, and long distances in the cabin are no problem. Four adults fit very comfortably in the vehicle plus luggage in the rear.
Cons
The only cons for me are the radio and a blind spot. The USB port doesn't support my Android phone (a Note 4) and will not connect to it as a music device. This may also be user error, but it is easily solved with a 3.5 Mm jack with very little distortion. Additionally, there is a blind spot in the rear of the vehicle because of the body lines between the back windows. This may be easily solved if the seat position can be manipulated. It isn't as bad as some vehicles that I've drive, but it is something to consider.

I purchased my Hyundai Sante Fe used in 2010. The car had 24,000 miles and was two years old. This was my first SUV-type vehicle. I wasn't sure if I would like it. I sat up high, which I really liked. I could see over and around traffic. The car was a four cylinder but had great pick-up . I used this car over the next five years driving to travel sports events and to my daughters college in the mountains. The car served me well. I would recommend a Sante Fe for anyone needing a reliable work horse of a car.
Story
I drove my daughter to college her freshman year . The car was jammed packed. I was driving up and down mountain roads with the car was jammed.
Pros
The car had great pick up and visibility was good.
Cons
The transmission went on the car.
