I truly have enjoyed owning my vehicle. It is spacious, comfortable, and has a nice look to it when people see you going down the road - they don't just assume it's a mom ride. My husband doesn't mind driving it at all and we have taken it on many vacations. The trunk is large enough that I am able to keep a stroller in there at all times and still have room for groceries or anything else that may need to go back there.
Story
My vehicle is always chosen when we go on a day trip because there is more room. So my vehicle reminds me of fun times.
Pros
My favorite features about the car are the cubbies in the back they allow me to keep some tools, flashlight and even some personal items tucked away so they are not rolling around in the back. Also, there is a button on the ceiling by my overhead lights that turns on the lights in the back seat easily - this helps with my baby in the back seat.
Cons
The only thing that I did not like about my car was the recalls. I had two and even though they were fixed and I haven't had any problems since, it still was a burden.

I at first did not want a Hyundai, but I came around quickly to the Santa Fe. I have driven this car for about 5,000 miles (i bought pre-owned) and I am generally impressed with my gas mileage -- 26 highway is pretty nice for a small SUV, and I really like all the storage-- as a scout leader, it is excellent having a big trunk, 5 seats, four doors, and roof racks. I think the car is a little too tall-- I am looking into installing running boards, because myself, my friends, and my scouts seem to have a generally hard time getting in and out. The seats have pretty ugly fabric on them but are comfortable and very supportive. My car seems to eat tires, I had to replace my tires almost immediately after buying, but the ride is generally smooth and the car is a zippy little beast, a 3.5L V6... (more)
Story
287 Had flooded, and I drove right through a flooded exit ramp. My friend who was following behind got stuck in the water, his car choked
Pros
Good mpg comfortable seats smooth ride roof racks fast
Cons
No CD player No trailer hitch Backseat only seats two adults comfortably

This Santa Fe was perfect for me. As a single adult it was not too big nor too small, but had enough room for my extended family. I have used this vehicle for seven years and have no problems with any aspect of the car. It runs beautifully. The interior design of the car looks very sleek and modern without the expensive price tag. Seats are covered with a pretty grayish cloth material which makes the interior look very nice. No rattling or weird noises in the interior.
Story
I had to drive across 2 states and wasn't sure if my car, being so old, would make it. I worried the whole way there and back but not once did the vehicle give me any trouble.
Pros
Vehicle had a CD player. Back seat windows are tinted. The seats are extremely comfortable. Very cushiony and the backs of them are firm and nice. The vehicle was already seven years old when I got it so I expected some engine problems, but the engine is still in pristine condition. Only had to change out the brakes once since I've had it.
Cons
Driver and passenger windows are not tinted. Fuel economy is average. Outside paint on car is starting to peel.
