This car is now 1 year old, and has performed relatively well in that time. However, one month after I bought it brand new, the gear shifter became stuck in drive. I had to have it taken to the dealership where they had to replace a brand new part. I was lucky it happened on a Saturday and while I was in my home, because I was unable to turn the car off and that would have been a very dangerous situation otherwise. It handles very well on curves, and the turbo engine gives a nice burst of speed when needed. There isn't a lot of trunk space, but that is pretty standard for a sports coupe. I do often have trouble with the Bluetooth connectivity and the satellite radio connectivity. The Bluetooth will drop out in the middle of a call, if it will connect at all. And the voice recognition s... (more)
Story
The most fun I had was the first morning I drove to work on this very curvy mountain road that I used to have to essentially slow to a stop to take the turns. I didn't even have to hit the brake with the Genesis. I felt like a stunt driver.
Pros
I love the way it handles on the road, and especially the turns of hillside streets. The turbo engine is very fast, and allows me to maneuver through traffic very well. It is also a very aesthetically pleasing car from the outside.
Cons
First and foremost was the defective gear shifter out of the factory. I'm still mad about that because I bought the thing brand new so that I wouldn't have to worry about it breaking down in dangerous ways. That could have left me stranded very seriously. The electrical system is also pretty bad. The satellite radio can't often connect, and the Bluetooth is just as bad if not worse. The key pro of voice recognition and Bluetooth connection is safety, and I feel like I've been put in more unsafe situations than normal just because I have to deal with the system malfunctioning. The turbo eng... (more)

This vehicle has been good all the way around. The performance is great, cornering, acceleration and breaking are all more than adequate and make the vehicle fun to drive. This vehicle is high quality, I have driven almost 30,000 miles so far without any issues. No interior or exterior rattles, the engine has not lost any power and it still drives like it did when it was new. The interior features are amazing. The controls and navigation are very intuitive and easy to learn, the steering wheel controls and sound system quality make every drive enjoyable.
Story
I love driving my car around on back roads. The way it handles makes it a great experience.
Pros
My favorite things about this car include handling around corners, the navigation system, the look and feel of the interior and the sound system. The car almost corners like it is on rails, it feels as though you are glued to the road. The voice controls on the navigation system are top notch, it understands you every time, even when the windows are down. The interior and the sound system make you feel like you are in a car that is worth twice as much, it's a great experience. It makes me smile every time I get in the car. Another thing I like about this vehicle is, even though it is a sm... (more)
Cons
I don't really have any complaints about this car. If I could change 1 thing, it would probably be to make the engine a little more powerful. Though, the way it is, it is by no means weak.

This car is so beautiful. By simply adding some rims, I get complimented daily wherever I go, by any age group. Old, young, men, women, children, white, black, purple, anyone and everyone, compliments the car. The paint has metallic flakes in it which really makes it pop after a wash and the sun hits it. The lines on the car flow extremely well, better than other cars in it's class. That's just the appearance. The interior is pretty good for it's price. Nothing feels cheap. Everything looks good and feels sturdy. Now, on to the good part. The power. This car has good economy while maintaining the power. The turbo kicks in when you need it. Everything is perfectly capable at stock, but, the real fun comes in when you start modding. A simple intake, exhaust, and a tune, roughly costing $... (more)
Pros
Beautiful car, good power that can easily be made into amazing power.
Cons
