I have loved my Genesis since I bought it 4 years ago. I have had zero mechanical problems with it and runs very smooth. I have over 150k miles on it and no signed of mechanical problems. I think it is a pretty unique car and I get a decent amount of people that ask about it. It is pretty quick as well and can hold its own compared to others. It shifts very smoothly and shows no signs of transmission problems. I like the black leather interior in it and it has held up well with only a small crack on the driver side seat.
Story
I was driving around Dallas and someone was trying to race me on the toll way. I know this was not the wisest decision but I raced a challenger. It was night so there was not many cars on the toll way. I ended up wining and it was a lot of fun.
Pros
My favorite features is how fast this car is and how well it shifts. I have people trying to race me all of the time because it is quick. I also love the way this car looks and think it looks very unique. It has a very sports car look to it and does not look like any other car. I also love that I have over 150k miles on this car and still runs like it is new. As long as you change the oil and keep up with the maintenance, I feel like this car will run for a very long time.
Cons
I have not had any problems with this mechanically but problems with the paint on the exterior. The plastic film over the paint on the hood started to bubble up and come off. I ended up having to re-paint the hood. Now the passenger side is starting to come off as well. It looks like I will have to re-paint this as well. The interior ceiling started to come off by the rear window. This was not a very big deal because I just sprayed some adhesive and put it back to where it was.

2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe - I get a lot of compliments on the car. It makes me feel good about my purchase.

When I first decided on purchasing my car, I chose it based on the aesthetic. After driving around in it and getting to know its capabilities and functionalities, I became more knowledgeable about it. I've driven it about ten thousand miles and taken many passengers for the ride along. I've gotten decent feed back on the car itself. From the exterior to the interior to the engine, a lot is good. However, there are slight imperfections in the design and build materials that change the prospective of it overtime. By just looking at it, it's nice. However, sitting in the driver seat can change your perspective. For long-distance travel this car wouldn't be ideal. The low-profile tires compromise comfort when roads are terribly not smooth. The positive things would be the interior , radio,... (more)
Story
I'd say meeting up with a cute girl on the top of a high sloped road looking down at the city lights making out.
Pros
The best thing about the car is the stereo system. I love music, so when I get in my car and have complete privacy, the quality of the sound gets me happy.
Cons
One of the negative things about the car would be the comfortability. The car is a sports car, so you'd expect a stiffer ride overall, which you do notice while on the road. The tires are low profile so the car is easier and more responsive to the road. However, it compromises comfort.
