My 2013 Hyundai Veloster is a great vehicle overall. It is all leather, has a panoramic sunroof, has a turbo engine, backup camera, GPS and XM radio. It is the only 3 door coupe in existence. It is so unique that it is both a coupe and a hatchback. It will seat two people in the back and actually has two doors on the passenger side. The gas mileage per tank is really good; about 425 miles per tank. Right now gas costs me under $25 to fill up. The turbo is fun! I am not a fan of 4 cylinder engines, but the turbo makes up for it. It can get up and go without hesitation. Then interior of the car is in good condition. The driver's side seat is a bit worn, but it is to be expected after four years. The seats are sport seats which wrap around your sides. It is as if the seat is forming aroun... (more)

I like to sit in my car on my lunch break. I open my sunroof, lay back, and let the sun come in. It feels great and is so relaxing. It is one of the advantages to living in a warm climate.
Pros
There are several things that I love about this vehicle. The first thing to mention is that it is super cute. It is longer in front, shorter in the back and has a rounded design. The panoramic sunroof really adds to the attractiveness of this feature. Another things that really like is the turbo engine. Not only does it sound amazing; it drives really well. It is super smooth and super fast. The final thing that I really like about the vehicle is the gas mileage. It does not cost a lot to fill up and you can get about 425 miles from a full tank.
Cons
Something negative about this vehicle is the size. I travel off and on and it is difficult to fit a lot of items in the car. Sometimes I feel like I am squished in a clown car. Another negative is the vehicle is low to the ground. That is part of having a sporty vehicle. I have a broken hip and it makes it really hard to get in and out of the car. Without the issue with my hip, I would be fine with it. I really do not have another con as I am quite pleased with this vehicle.

With a four-cylinder base engine, you'll be cruising nice and easy through the streets of this great nation in style. With a six-speed transmission, not only will you feel powerful but you'll feel awesome. It makes you feel as though you're in a racecar. The amount of pickup when you press the gas pedal is astounding. The seats are SUPER comfortable and the car just FEELS nice in your hands. With an estimated 27/35 mpg city/highway, you'll be able to bypass most gas stations and smile knowing you're saving money. If you go with the sunroof option, you won't be disappointed due to the fact that while driving, you crack that baby open and you're dealing with the warm rays of that hot sun. It's an absolute dream. The car not only handles well but it looks GREAT. The modern interior matche... (more)
Story
One day I was greeted by a gentleman while I was out shopping for some new speakers. He remarked how clean and stylish my car was. He asked if it was custom parts and when I told him no, he was VERY surprised. He told me he was looking for a car for his son and that he would now be suggesting the Veloster to him.
Pros
It’s a hatchback with touch screen controls, Smart phone app, amazing handling and great mileage. It also has a Great exterior and interior.
Cons
The gas mileage however; does leaves a small amount to be desired. Some of the interior materials are low quality and a desire for better AC cooling is there.

I love how agile this little car seems to be. It's a small car with a ton of maneuverability. Small parking lots and tight spaces aren't an issue at all, as the car needs very little space to turn. Unlike many current cars, it's raised far enough off the ground not to drag, which is important when you travel in some places. This was especially important to me, as I have to cross a gravel road daily - and this car does so with no issue. Despite being small and quiet, it has a deceptive amount of power under the hood. It accelerates quickly when needed, but doesn't guzzle gas during normal driving. It even has an EcoBoost feature to further reduce gas usage - a life saver with current gas prices. The interior is smart looking and a bit unique, and seems to be made of high quality materia... (more)
Story
My grandfather lives on a farm out in the country. My old car was simply too low to be able to get up the road to see him. This left me either walking (unfortunate when carrying groceries) or calling someone to come pick me up at the end of the road. The Veloster, while it definitely doesn't look like a "country car," makes it up the road (and through the creek) with no issues. Problem solved!
Pros
Small, turns easily, doesn't use much gas, roomy, and comfortable.
Cons
Rough ride and small back seat.
