My 2013 Hyundai Veloster is a great vehicle overall. It is all leather, has a panoramic sunroof, has a turbo engine, backup camera, GPS and XM radio. It is the only 3 door coupe in existence. It is so unique that it is both a coupe and a hatchback. It will seat two people in the back and actually has two doors on the passenger side. The gas mileage per tank is really good; about 425 miles per tank. Right now gas costs me under $25 to fill up. The turbo is fun! I am not a fan of 4 cylinder engines, but the turbo makes up for it. It can get up and go without hesitation. Then interior of the car is in good condition. The driver's side seat is a bit worn, but it is to be expected after four years. The seats are sport seats which wrap around your sides. It is as if the seat is forming aroun... (more)
Story
I like to sit in my car on my lunch break. I open my sunroof, lay back, and let the sun come in. It feels great and is so relaxing. It is one of the advantages to living in a warm climate.
Pros
There are several things that I love about this vehicle. The first thing to mention is that it is super cute. It is longer in front, shorter in the back and has a rounded design. The panoramic sunroof really adds to the attractiveness of this feature. Another things that really like is the turbo engine. Not only does it sound amazing; it drives really well. It is super smooth and super fast. The final thing that I really like about the vehicle is the gas mileage. It does not cost a lot to fill up and you can get about 425 miles from a full tank.
Cons
Something negative about this vehicle is the size. I travel off and on and it is difficult to fit a lot of items in the car. Sometimes I feel like I am squished in a clown car. Another negative is the vehicle is low to the ground. That is part of having a sporty vehicle. I have a broken hip and it makes it really hard to get in and out of the car. Without the issue with my hip, I would be fine with it. I really do not have another con as I am quite pleased with this vehicle.

I purchased this vehicle because it gets good gas mileage and looks sharp. I did not like the fact that the vehicle has many blind spots. It also has very little pick up which makes merging onto the expressway tedious. The interior of the vehicle is above average. The electronic features are nice, but they don't work properly most of the time. I also do not like that you have to pay a subscription for continued use of many of the features of the interior. It is a nice car for a single family but would not be utilized for a family vehicle. There are three doors, which is a nice feature, but it's interesting that they chose to place the third door on the passenger side of the car.
Story
The only memorable story that I can think of at the moment is I was able to drive through two and a half states and not need to stop for gas once.
Pros
Gas mileage, look of the car, remote start, lock/unlock car, etc....from your phone. Bluetooth connection with phone calls and media. Multiple types of outlets (USB, Auxiliary, normal plug).
Cons
Cons of the vehicle are the multiple blind spots. You have to be very aware of where you are looking before changing lanes or making tight turns. It is not a car you would loan to anyone, because they would wreck it with the amount of blind spots. The pick up is zilch. It is almost impossible to get enough speed up to merge onto a busy expressway especially if the ramp empties into the fast lane. The electronic features (Bluetooth, map locations) do not work consistently. The features that were included in the car (remote unlock, car start, road-side assistance) are all on yearly exp... I bought this car as a new model a 2013 in 2012. I'm 6'0 and I drive a smaller car but I have to admit it is much roomier than it looks on the outside. The gas mileage is really great I commute to work 50+ miles a day five days a week as well as I drive doing deliveries for Postmates and I only have to fill my tank once a week on average at about 10.5 - 11 gallons per fill, so great mileage and a pretty cheap fill with gas being over $2 a gallon. My only issue is although it is a hatchback I can never quite fit all that I want in the space, even though I was able to move some Ikea furniture that was still in the box I doubt I can move the furniture now. I also am not super in love with the interior build quality, there has always been a slight rattle from the mirror in its hinge as wel... (more)

When one of my supervisors asked how I fit in such a tiny car, I made him sit in the front seat with the seat pushed all the way back so he could feel the leg room and he immediately shut up.
