My 2013 Hyundai Veloster is a great vehicle overall. It is all leather, has a panoramic sunroof, has a turbo engine, backup camera, GPS and XM radio. It is the only 3 door coupe in existence. It is so unique that it is both a coupe and a hatchback. It will seat two people in the back and actually has two doors on the passenger side. The gas mileage per tank is really good; about 425 miles per tank. Right now gas costs me under $25 to fill up. The turbo is fun! I am not a fan of 4 cylinder engines, but the turbo makes up for it. It can get up and go without hesitation. Then interior of the car is in good condition. The driver's side seat is a bit worn, but it is to be expected after four years. The seats are sport seats which wrap around your sides. It is as if the seat is forming aroun... (more)
Story
I like to sit in my car on my lunch break. I open my sunroof, lay back, and let the sun come in. It feels great and is so relaxing. It is one of the advantages to living in a warm climate.
Pros
There are several things that I love about this vehicle. The first thing to mention is that it is super cute. It is longer in front, shorter in the back and has a rounded design. The panoramic sunroof really adds to the attractiveness of this feature. Another things that really like is the turbo engine. Not only does it sound amazing; it drives really well. It is super smooth and super fast. The final thing that I really like about the vehicle is the gas mileage. It does not cost a lot to fill up and you can get about 425 miles from a full tank.
Cons
Something negative about this vehicle is the size. I travel off and on and it is difficult to fit a lot of items in the car. Sometimes I feel like I am squished in a clown car. Another negative is the vehicle is low to the ground. That is part of having a sporty vehicle. I have a broken hip and it makes it really hard to get in and out of the car. Without the issue with my hip, I would be fine with it. I really do not have another con as I am quite pleased with this vehicle.

I purchased this vehicle because it gets good gas mileage and looks sharp. I did not like the fact that the vehicle has many blind spots. It also has very little pick up which makes merging onto the expressway tedious. The interior of the vehicle is above average. The electronic features are nice, but they don't work properly most of the time. I also do not like that you have to pay a subscription for continued use of many of the features of the interior. It is a nice car for a single family but would not be utilized for a family vehicle. There are three doors, which is a nice feature, but it's interesting that they chose to place the third door on the passenger side of the car.
Story
The only memorable story that I can think of at the moment is I was able to drive through two and a half states and not need to stop for gas once.
Pros
Gas mileage, look of the car, remote start, lock/unlock car, etc....from your phone. Bluetooth connection with phone calls and media. Multiple types of outlets (USB, Auxiliary, normal plug).
Cons
Cons of the vehicle are the multiple blind spots. You have to be very aware of where you are looking before changing lanes or making tight turns. It is not a car you would loan to anyone, because they would wreck it with the amount of blind spots. The pick up is zilch. It is almost impossible to get enough speed up to merge onto a busy expressway especially if the ramp empties into the fast lane. The electronic features (Bluetooth, map locations) do not work consistently. The features that were included in the car (remote unlock, car start, road-side assistance) are all on yearly exp... I have a 2013 Hyundai Veloster with relatively few miles on it. The interior design is very exceptional and offers a great deal of space for a hatchback. The seats are made of high-quality looking cloth and leather. The sun roof works seamlessly. I have experienced a few problems with the steering wheel controls, such as the buttons sticking a bit when pressed. The sound system is pretty good but can get a little distorted if turned up too high. It's great on gas mileage but is still capable of reaching high speeds in a matter of seconds. I'm not really a big fan of the whole three-door thing, but it's just a personal preference. The navigation system and audio controls all still work very well after four years.
Story
One memorable story is when my friends and I were driving to La Mesa, Texas. We were driving fast down roads that stretched on for miles and miles. Just all of us being together and listening to loud music and singing along made the trip a good one.
Pros
My favorite feature is the 7" screen. I love that the audio system offers Bluetooth and connections for an iPod or aux control. I love that it has a rear view camera and offers warning beeps when nearing objects while backing up. I like how spacious the trunk is and that it has a trunk tray. Another favorite feature is that I can go into either eco mode or sports mode while driving to save up on gas or speed down the highway.
Cons
My least favorite thing about the Veloster is that the push-start button is awkwardly placed below the A/C controls. I also don't like that the rear seat cup holders are placed directly into the rear seat as opposed to on the back of the center console.
