The Hyundai Santa Fe is a good choice for anyone looking for a three-row crossover vehicle. The Santa Fe is generous with its standard features and has plenty of options to choose from as well. The Santa Fe can be a serviceable off-road, adventure vehicle, family hauler or whatever else you need it to be. This versatile vehicle also has nice exterior styling for a decent price.
Story
Going around with my family members across the county and especially the children enjoyed the whole drive.
Pros
Massive interior space. The interior of the 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe is spacious. It is easy to enter and exit the vehicle and easy to reach any of the three rows. The cockpit area has plenty of head, elbow and leg room for the driver and front passenger. Fantastic safety rating. The IIHS gave the 2017 Santa Fe its highest award for safety. The IIHS performs crash tests and awarded the SUV with their Top Safety Pick of the year. The 2018 model has not yet been tested, but since it's essentially the same exact vehicle, you can expect the same level of protection. Nice safety features. The 2018... (more)
Cons
Poor rear visibility. Due to some strange design choices, visibility may be a problem for some drivers. This is especially true of the rear visibility. This is somewhat offset by the addition of rear-view cameras, but still can be annoying. Below average fuel economy. Fuel Economy ratings for the Hyundai Santa Fe are decent, but far from the best in this class of vehicles. The Santa Fe gets 21 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway. Small third-row seats. While the interior is spacious, that last row of seats is kind of slim. This may not be a big deal if you're transporting a lot of ki... (more)

We were interested in switching from a sedan to an SUV to accommodate a growing family and two large dogs. The Sante Fe feels somewhat sporty and compact to drive but still has plenty of room on the interior. The rear storage fits our two dogs and then some and is great for camping or just hauling groceries. The backseat has lots of leg room and the rear seats fold down nearly flat to fit large objects. The interior materials, including the seats and dash, look and feel high-quality, more than you would expect for the price of the vehicle. The car is AWD and can handle itself in off-road or inclement weather conditions, which is great for outdoor activities. We've driven our Sante Fe for over a year now and have had no mechanical or electrical issues at all with the car. It still feels... (more)
Story
We use our SUV to take our dogs to the river to swim. They love to jump into the back of the Sante Fe since it only takes them to fun places.
Pros
We really like the roomy interior, large rear storage space, and high-quality feel of the interior materials.
Cons
Fuel economy is not great since it is a larger SUV with AWD.
