I have a blue Santa Fe and it's been indispensable. I've been very happy with this purchase over all these years since 2010 when I purchased my 2009 Blue Santa Fe.
Story
A couple things jump out in my mind in my memory bank of good times with my Santa Fe. One, going to the Drive-In movie theater with my son for "together time" and a good old summer movie. Pros
I love my moon roof. I love the heated seats. As well, the roominess and fold down back seats that expand that interior roominess is incredibly practical. I am a homemaker, advocate for my son's educational needs, and often times a care taker. This car's versatility has helped me manage every aspect of my life. The warranty thus far has proven very useful not due to too many problems but when typical issues have arisen from everyday use. Cons
I don't love the ease of which the seat upholstery stains, but I was offered and purchased the extra maintenance package to address this and similar issues so I can live with that. I do not enjoy the difficulty in using it as it is not offered directly from Hyundai but a third party. After a couple years the suspension does not feel as smooth as it first was though I haven't looked into why this might be. The leather like part of interior also dirties and warps with ease. My only wish was an included Bluetooth function that was not an option.

It was just ok. I liked the size of the car. It allowed plenty of room for me and my family and had a lot of trunk space for luggage. I disliked the power of the car and t he miles per gallon that I got on average. It did generally perform ok, though. It got me to where I needed to be and it has lasted me a long time. It has no extra special features, but I was happy with what I had and it worked for me. I was happy with the price that I paid for this car.
Story
One memorable story with this car is going on a trip with my children. I took them on a trip to see my parents by myself in this car. It was the longest drive I ever did in my own and it was a big deal for me, so I will always remember that about this car.
Pros
The pros of this car were the size and the safety. It had plenty of room and I felt safe driving it. It has lasted me several years and over 100,000 miles.
Cons
The things I disliked most about this car are the lack of power. I expected it to have a stronger engine in it, but it really struggled going up hills. I also was unhappy with the gas mileage with this car. My average mpg was much lower than I expected it to be. There were also a few small maintenance issues with the car that had to be fixed, more than I would have expected.
