We love my Hyundai Santa Fe! We found out about this car, because we rented one for vacation. We loved it so much that we decided to buy one. My favorite thing about the Santa Fe is that it is so easy to drive. I found it easier to drive than my four door sedan. The handling is responsive and making tight turns into parking spots is easy. The other favorite feature is the roomy second row. When we got the car we had a baby. It is so easy to change diapers in the back seat, due to all of the room. This makes it easy to go on trips with a baby. Even though we have a toddler now, the back seat still looks new. Even though he is really rough he hasn't managed to break anything, which means everything is sturdy on the inside. The third row seating is great for guest, but would be tight for ... (more)
Story
We bought a house and needed to get some supplies at the hardware store. We bought a little bit too much in the store. When we got to the Santa Fe in the parking lot, we didn't think everything would fit. Somehow my husband managed to get everything in the Santa Fe, including a baby in a car seat. For some reason this story has stuck with me over the last couple of years. I look back and smile... (more)
Pros
Roomy second row. Smooth handling. Responsive engine (get up and go). Easy to drive. Easy to park (especially tight spots). Good gas mileage for an sub. Durability of the inside features. Lots of space for luggage or other large items.
Cons
Style of the wheels. Small things have broken that shouldn't have (Example: the pump for the windshield washer fluid). Small third row seat.

2013 Hyundai Santa Fe - It was chosen as replacement for my totaled car. I made a bad decision.

The price was comparable for a used car with these low miles. It was the correct number of seating. We liked the back-up camera and the vision for driving. We like the heated seats and the hands-free system. We liked the radio and CD player and even the Sirius trial period. The color is something I would have changed if possible. It is boring silver. The lack of movement in the head rests is very frustrating to deal with. It is impossible to sit and relax in the seat. I do like the moving options for the driver's seat. It goes up and down with a tilt and makes it easy since there is a difference of almost 20 inches in height between drivers. There is good a visual in both the front and rear views. The rear hatch is easy to work and gives good space for groceries. The tire size makes th... (more)
Story
Silver is such a common color that I have had to memorize my license plate so I don't attempt to enter someone else's car.
Pros
Heated seats and rear view camera.
Cons
Headrests, color, not front-wheel drive.
