The Santa Fe has literally been there for me through thick and thin. I have had many times were I have had to load up Maria ( my car) to the brim, strap a mattress to the top and drive to a new location. I truly don't know what I would do without my car. She has been there for festivals and concerts, she has gotten me through many cross country trips to help family in need, and truly has saved my life in a few situations in college. She's a little worn down and looks a little rough, but she's been loved. Complete part of my life that I will never regret purchasing as my first adult purchase. The Sound System has been through anything and everything and still keeps rocking. Sun roof has helped a lot of starter tans and trips for band camp.
Story
Driving from Georgia to Chicago to top Michigan to Chicago again and finally ending in Alabama. It was a life changing trip with a lot of time to think about life and I felt completely at home in Maria to drive that nonsense.
Pros
The sound system, it was great for times when I just wanted to jam out for a fun time or if I just wanted to park and cry. The sunroof is a major prop and gets great miles at least I think.
Cons
I unfortunately had to have a friend break into my car cause I locked the keys in, which wasn't the problem.. It was the problem that the handle was literally so close to the window that if its slightly open while locked, you could just squeeze your hand in there to grab the knob. The only other thing would be the seats don't lay completely flat in the back.

2004 Hyundai Santa Fe - Great car when you need something to get you from point A to point B.

I currently own the 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe. Although it is an old car, it had held up extremely well over the years. At first I was not crazy about the exterior because it is bright red, but I have come to like the looks of it. As for the inside, it is outdated when it comes to technology, but everything else is great. It has a lot of room in the front seats as well as the back seats. In addition, there is a huge trunk area which can fit multiple large items. The car has ran great through hot summers and extremely cold and snowy winter.
Story
I have had this car since I was a senior in high school, so I would drive it to all of the football games at Notre Dame and pick up my friends on the way.
Pros
I like the size of the car. It is an SUV, but it is not huge. I wanted something with a lot of room, but I did not want a typical giant SUV. This is the perfect combination of small and large. I also like how smooth it drives. For an old car, it feels like new when I am driving it on the expressway. It has also half up through many long road trips.
Cons
Over the past few years, the air has not been working as well as it did before. Each summer I need to take it to the shop to have them do a quick fix. The inside does not have the best technology as well. I needed to buy my own aux cord so I could listen to my own music. Lastly, I have started having some issues with starting the car after I fill the tank with gas.
