I actually fell in love with the car when I first drove it. It handled very well and the price seemed to be in line with what I wanted to pay for a vehicle. I must say I really enjoyed the vehicle but, I could not say the same for the dealership. We agreed upon a price and a payment. I turned in my trade and headed off to meet my daughter and grand kids at Disney World for a week of fun. Three days after I left with the new vehicle, I got a call from the finance guy telling me they could not get the financing % agreed upon. I asked him if my old car was on the lot. He said says, I told him I would be back in two days to give them the car back, pick up mine and get my deposit check back. When I arrived, the sales manager asked if there was anything they could do to keep me in the car. I... (more)
Story
Only that I had the vehicle for three days. My insurance company was shocked at what happened.
Pros
The care handled like a dream and had plenty of zip. I loved the space of the vehicle and all the various safety features. The trunk was very large and would allow me to carry four golf club bags at one time. I loved the color of the vehicle, red.
Cons
Only thin I didn't like was you had to use your smartphone plugged into the vehicle to get GPS as the car did not have an on board GPS system.

My Sonata is a standard sedan. It has no great appeal other than being a general daily driver. It gets good gas mileage, and is low maintenance. It is slow, and does not have the best brakes. The car is very reliable and sturdy. It offers nothing in aesthetics. The car was definitely worth the purchase price, but in retrospect I would have gone with something a little nicer. The price of oil changes, and other general maintenance is on the low end. In addition, Hyundai offers great deals on maintenance package in my limited experience.
Story
One memorable experience was being side swiped in it. It took the hit very well but has never been the same since. The cost to repair was cheap and the no one was hurt.
Pros
My Hyundai Sonata has a few pros, the first and best is its good gas mileage. I average between 30 and 40 miles per gallon suburb which is great. The car is generally low maintenance overall. It only requires a few oil change a year and very little other than that. It is reliable. It does what it needs to do and very rarely have I encountered any mechanical issues. it is also roomy for a four door sedan.
Cons
The car is slow to accelerate which makes highway driving difficult. It is not a stylish car, and offers very little in aesthetic appeal. I feel the brakes are not as responsive as they should be.
