Very pleased with exceeded expectations
When I first started car shopping, I was in the market for a simple vehicle that I could use for commuting to and from work and running errands. I didn't want to spend much as it is a secondary vehicle, and I didn't want to exceed my budget. That being said, with a low budget, my expectations were pretty low as well. However, the Hyundai Sonata has exceeded my expectations. I am quite impressed with the performance of this vehicle. The drive is smooth and it handles well. It looks clean and sleek. Of the color options available, I chose the teal blue which keeps a pretty clear appearance even when it could use a wash. My family and I are people of above average height, and there is plenty room for the driver, the front passenger and passengers in the back seat. The fuel efficiency is great. I have come to expect pretty good fuel efficiency with Hyundai cars, and this one did not disappoint. While I enjoy many positive features about the Hyundai Sonata, there are a few down sides. The body of the car has a few dents and dings. It seems as if it is not sturdy enough to stand up to a neighboring car's opening door or random debris on the highway. I live in a hot and humid environment, and some days it take a while for the air conditioning to cool off. Overall, I am really pleased with most features of this car.

Excellent car with great gas mileage.
My Hyundai Sonata has served me quite well for the past 2.5 years. I bought it with just a few thousand miles on it in 2015, and it currently has 32,000 miles. I've driven it on long (~10-hour) drives up and down the east coast several times with no issues, but I typically use it for suburban driving around my neighborhood, to and from work, and downtown. Mostly, I love the gas mileage I get with this vehicle. I fill the tank once every 2-3 weeks, it holds about 15 gallons, and gas expenses aren't even something I think much about. It has a feature to switch into "ECO" mode, which seems to make a difference as well in saving gas and maximizing fuel efficiency. Repairs haven't been costly for me either. I take it in for routine oil/filter changes for about $60 per year ($15/visit), and the service guys at the dealership have always been friendly and honest with me. Further, this car looks pretty good--many of my peers have mistaken it for a luxury line vehicle of another brand upon first glance, and I get a good number of compliments on it.
