The Sonata is a high grade vehicle and offers a lot of luxurious perks, from the lining inside of the car to the XM radio that offers excellent Stereo sound. This is what I love regarding my Sonata. Dislikes : None. The 2009 Sonata is a unique automobile as Hyundai attempts to offer a luxurious offering at an economic price point.
Story
One night I was driving from the beaches and I was presently surprised at how this car handled on the rain. At one point I was entering a wet area and I was worried about hydroplaning. The car is equipped with Electronics to handle such situations with ease, controlling all for breaks on different ways.
Pros
1. Cruise control standard 2. Luxurious cockpit 3. Spacious interior 4.Roomy trunk 5. Excellent handling on turns 6. Very sturdy feel.
Cons
Nothing to say that negative, except that Android support would have been appreciated. I have to use a Bluetooth fob into Aug. Sonata for this year is for I pods and iPhone.

I needed a car that fit within a modest budget, that I wouldn't have to worry about high maintenance costs. I found the Hyundai Sonata and could not be happier. Any and all fixes are easy to get done, and the longevity of this car have been surprising. I bought this car with relatively high mileage and have put over 35,000 additional miles on, with only new tires and a transmission flush and fill. It also has good gas mileage for a car this size and has plenty of interior space. I'm 6'1" and have plenty of leg space in both the front seat and back. The only big con is that is has loud tire sounds. I have been in newer Sonatas, and they have the same problem: you can hear the tires making a low hum, no matter if they are new or old. Getting frequent rotations seems to help, and buying q... (more)
Story
We took this car on a road trip to the Grand Canyon! It is usually driven around the mountains, but this was out of the ordinary! There was snow, and 45-mile an hour winds, and even though I wasn't sure, my Sonata handled it with flying colors!
Pros
This car is great value for the money. I bought it used and have gotten more use than I paid for. Fixes for this car are cheap and easy. Most garages carry the parts, and they aren't super pricey. Gas efficiency is good for a car this size. The cabin is spacious. I've got very long legs and can sit comfortably in both the front and back seats. The storage space is roomy. I have moved an entire apartment using this car - fits a mini-fridge and everything! The back bumper is sturdy. I have been rear-ended twice, and it only has a scuff.
Cons
There is road noise from the tires. You have to get the tires rotated frequently to cut down on this. The front bumper is not sturdy. It sustained a mild hit, and the left half of the bumper is almost totally falling off. You must buy nice tires. Cheap tires are even louder. Lock button isn't very responsive. You have to press it repeatedly. The interior is light and very porous. You have almost no time to wipe up spills.
