I've had my Hyundai Sonata for almost 8 years now, and it's still running strong. The leather interior is truly luxurious for the size and model of the car. It doesn't seem to heat up too much on hot days, which is great, given the dark paint color. One of the best features is the moon roof, which adds a nice touch given the hot environment I live in. During the summer, it's great to drive around with all the windows and moon roof down and really take advantage of the breeze! The exterior of the car is fantastic; it truly looks like a luxury vehicle, even though it's a standard sedan. Others have compared it to the look of a Jaguar given the way the lights are positioned in the front. One of the best things about this car is its durability. There have been minor issues as with any vehi... (more)
Story
Seems that every time we take the vehicle on a trip, the check engine light comes on. It's kind of ironic, as it's never anything big - just low fluids or something - but it's always funny whenever we go on a long trip we notice that. It's gotten to be a bit of a joke in the California area for us, but we have never had major problems as a result.
Pros
One of my favorite features is the moon roof. Another great feature is the luxury look and feel, both inside (leather seating) and outside (with a look like a luxury car).
Cons
The only negative thing is the standard things that occur with any aging car as you start having to care for it more frequently. Nothing out of the ordinary, though!

Overall, the price I payed for the car did match my satisfaction level. Both the exterior and interior design of the car were superb and looked close to luxury. The interior panels had yellowish color. The seats were made from faux leather and always kept you warm. The car was light blue. And had totally no scratches despite being 2004 production. The car run smoothly without any hard engine noise.
Story
We were celebrating friend's birthday at the Cheesecake Factory with friends. It became night, and several of my friends did not have rides to go home. They asked me to give them a ride. The thing is--they were six in total. The car was only designed for five. I thought to take a risk and get six with this car. It was the first time that I took that many people in this car. Took them all, and ... (more)
Pros
Even though the car was 2004 production, I had no mechanical problem with the car at all. For all these years, the car started properly, ran smoothly and stopped properly. The acceleration of the car was another thing I like the most. It could jump like a horse in 2-3 seconds as it was V6 and 2.4 L engine. I liked the trunk of the car as it was pretty big for multiple baggage could be placed.
Cons
I did not like the design of front headlamps of this car. They seemed to me a bit of old style and naive. The back headlamps were of fine taste, but front, never liked them. The car had a sunroof, which I also disliked, as it somewhat gave the car a bad exterior look. And the car's speedometer was not of high taste either. They looked so simple and not sophisticated.
