It is a rather reliable vehicle that has rarely if ever let me down. I value reliability and durability over luxury or speed, and this car has provided ample amounts of both. It is not a beater at all and has a decent engine, despite being an NA I4. Once I learned how to use the manual gear selector option on the automatic transition, I was able to use the gear changes and subsequent increased torque to mitigate most of the issues with the engine.

Best value for your dollar.
I purchased this vehicle for under 20,000 brand new. I purchased the SE model, which is base model. It still came with Bluetooth and a great stereo. The build quality is great and very solid. The cabin of the Sonata is quite spacious and comfortable, and there's soaring headroom and abundant legroom; although as in other sedan designs, we've found getting in and out to be a little compromised. The only letdown in the past has been that the Sonata's steering and handling isn't quite up to the best class rivals. And Hyundai has made moves to fix that for 2015 with three modes for the electric power steering, a solid suspension, and more sound insulation underneath to help keep road noise out. I am 6 foot 3, and I fit very comfortably in it even with passengers in the back seats. The Sonata is marketed as a mid-size, but its exterior dimensions push the larger limit compared to the Toyota Camry, Honda Accord and Ford Fusion. Indeed, measured by total enclosed space, the Sonata sneaks in at the bottom of the government's large-sedan class. The base Sonata SE handles Interstates and commuting with ease, while the loaded Limited focuses on luxury. The Hybrid covers the need for greenness and the Sonata SE is most fun to drive, especially with the 274-hp, upgrade 2.0T engine.

Love This Car
I love this car. It is the only color of blue I like on a car and I made them go to another state to get it for me. The interior dash was the most user friendly of any vehicle I drove. This was the only car I really loved. Second choice was its cousin, the Kia Optima. Hyundai has one of the best powertrain warranties available, as well as roadside assistance. There isn't a whole lot I dislike about it, mainly the GPS. Doesn't work well and I think they should include updates at no charge, considering the cost of the car. It has limited navigation options, the touch screen usually doesn't recognize the correct buttons you are pressing, and it knows almost no local businesses. Overall I love my car and would get another one. The turbo is worth the cost. The look of the car is very nice. Trunk space is reasonable and the seats fold down. This is helpful for when I take long trips back home.
