This was a great first car to own. For starters it is a convertible, which is great in the summertime to cruise around it, especially with good friends and good music. It is a six cylinder so it definitely can move. Even at its old age, the former luxury features - leather seats, automatic seats, infinity speakers - still work great and do not need replacing. Sure it has had a few problems here and there, but what car at its age does not need a few fixes every once in a while. I have taken this car on longer day trips (4+ hrs. driving one way) and did not have any issues with it. Additionally, given the older age of the car, it was built at a time when cars were built to last, small dings and dents have had little impact vs. the plastic cracking in newer cars bumpers, etc. I would say ... Story
I remember going on a joy ride with my friends in the summer time so we would hit the 100,000-mile mark.
Pros
There are many positives about this vehicle. For starters, the color was a good selling point. Who doesn't want to cruise around on a beautiful day in gleaming red convertible with the top down? Even given the cars age, the paint is still in good condition with minimal dents and dings. I chalk that up to some good owners over the life of the car, but it is still a plus. The leather seats are also another stellar feature of this car. When buying a used car, who wants stained cloth seats that who knows what has happened to. The leather seats not only look better, but also stand up to the tes... (more)
Cons
There are also quite a few cons to owning this vehicle though. Let's start off with the age of the car. Over 20 years old is a long time in car years. And with that age comes more fixing up than one would have with a newer car. More belts breaking and many tie rod replacements. A few brake lines that have gone over the years. All to be expected with an older car, but still a definite con to owning a car this old. Next on the list would have to be the fact that its a convertible. This fact would definitely only be a pro depending on where one lives, but in new England it makes for cold wint... (more)

I will start with the things that I loved most about it. The lights and the make of the hood were exceptional, it looked like a high-class luxury vehicle and love the fact that it was big enough with space for me and my entire family of four people.
Story
Living in new England I will still say the heated seats came in handy always.
Pros
There is something that was exceptional that people may not even think about, and it was the clock inside the car. This was so luxurious and really handy, like I never had to think twice if I was reading the time or a radio tune, Now living in New England, I am going to miss the heated seats on the car because, as my coworkers run out to start their cars to warm up, I always laid back. As soon as I got in my Sebring, I would just put in the heated seats and, in a minute, I would be warm.
Cons
There are a couple of things that I have to say, though, when we hit 100,000 miles, the AC went out! The car would not cool anymore even after five visits to four different mechanical stores. Besides that, I started accumulating mechanical problems. Yesterday as I drove it to the dealership to do a trade-in, the windows went in and never came back up. I had a Christmas tree inside with all the dashboard lights on. But all in all, it was brand new. I would buy it again. I forgot one more thing, the dealers would not give me more than $500 all five dealers I talked to.
