The Hyundai Sonata is a good car for many uses. I did a lot of research before I purchased this car. Hyundai was just starting to make a name for itself when I was in the market to buy a car. I read many review on the Sonata and many people were saying that the Sonata was become a great value car. It is one of the biggest cars in its class. Everyone who rides in it is impressed with the comfort and size of the car. It is a great car to take on long trips because of its room. It's not the flashiest, nor the fastest, but it gets the job done.
Story
I remember the first time driving in ice with the Sonata and it is the first time I had a car with electronic stability control. I was impressed how easy it was to keep control of the car. Except I realized I couldn't make the car slide. It took away all my fun.
Pros
The car has plenty of room for a sedan. You can fit five adults in the car comfortably. There is good amount of leg room for the back seat passengers. It also has a big trunk. The car is easy to drive. It's not the fastest car but it goes when you want it to go and it stops when you want to stop. It has been a durable car. It has only had a few minor issues and nothing that has prevented it from being driven. The best part about the car is its versatility. My wife sells children's books and we are able to put her spinner rack in the back seat and up to 12 boxes of books in the tr... (more)
Cons
Being a big car hurts its gas mileage a bit. It gets about 29 miles/gallon on the freeway and 25 in town. It also only has a 4 cylinder engine so it is not a sports car by any means. It doesn't have all the modern gadgets such as Bluetooth or GPS built in. It has a gear shift that is supposed to let you pretend you are in a manual car but I have only used it a few times when I was bored.

This car is a great quality car. When I saw the price I didn't expect to find such a nice exterior, interior and sound mechanics. I love the interior. I chose a darker shade that will hold up well to children and spills. The seats have nice support and the headrests don't jut out like so many do. There is cruise control and audio controls on the steering wheel. Everything is power operated and the rearview mirror includes night tinting for those annoying headlights that usually blind you. The trunk is huge and great for this mom's big Costco hauls. The exterior has a sleek and clean design. I have had the car for a year and made several long road trips in it. I have never had a mechanical issue. It drives smooth and performs well.
Story
This car handles well on corners and we love to test it out a bit on the country roads new my home.
Pros
The huge trunk was exactly what I was looking for. All power everything. Roomy backseat for kids. Quickly accelerates.
Cons
Air conditioning takes a few minutes to blow cold. It could get better gas mileage.

They were very helpful. We had bought a car there before and had a good experience. Let us wander around and choose for ourselves. Gave us a fair trade in for our old car. We had a good deal on the car. Not too much haggling. Really like the way the warranty has been handled since we bought the car also.
