I have not had much trouble with this car. No major repairs have been needed. The car has 80,000 + miles and drives just fine. The interior is okay, nothing special about it. It has always been good to me. I did find that replacing the vacuum hose is not cheap since it is tied into the gas tank. Thank goodness for insurance.
Story
None.
Pros
The car is reliable and does not cause many problems. I do like that the interior is easy to clean. I like that it has power windows and locks. I love the size of the trunk. It holds a lot of groceries. I like that the seats are comfy and that there is lumbar support. The sound system is not bad either.
Cons
The car is rather meh. Nothing really special about it. I mainly got it because Hyundai's are pretty reliable. I think the newer models look better than the older ones. The car gets dusty pretty quick. The tires are not cheap to repair. I think I am going to consider that with my next car. I wish the gas mileage was better.

The 2013 Hyundai Sonata is the best car I have ever owned. I purchased this vehicle with my husband almost two years ago as we were looking for a newer good quality car. We purchased this vehicle based on its excellent gas mileage, style, color, reviews, and price. The Hyundai is an elegant, yet sporty car with an underestimated brand, that is definitely up and coming. It is sleek, sexy, and rides like a luxury car with a turbo boost that adds to it's sportiness. We are both in our mid 20's, and this is definitely a good car for the younger generation.
Story
When my husband and I discussed buying a vehicle we both agreed we would take our time and research everything to make sure we made the best decision possible. As it turns out, the Hyundai Sonata was the first car we saw and test drove. My husband fell in love with it and while I also really liked it, I have trouble with big purchases and need to see all my options before proceeding. We both a... (more)
Pros
There are so many favorite features about the 2013 Hyundai Sonata, but I will try to narrow it down to my top favorites. First, the gas mileage is excellent for it's size. It is a large sedan with roomy cabin, back seat, and trunk. The mileage is around 36-40 mpg. My next favorite feature is its comfort. The seats are relaxing with plenty of room and recline. This is an excellent car for long trips where you'd want to stretch out or take a nap. The ride itself is very smooth and has an element of luxury to it. I love the sportiness of the Hyundai. It is sleek and elegant on the outside (we... (more)
Cons
The car we purchased did not have many fancy additions such as rear camera, internet dashboard or warmed seats. I am sure these can be added if they are critical to a buyer. For what we were looking for, this car definitely fit the bill. If you're looking for something fancy, brand name or with lots of extra features and not so worried about gas mileage or affordability this car might not be the best choice. If you are looking for a great quality car with excellent gas mileage that is affordable, I can't recommend a better car!
