I was introduced to the LX platform when an ex bought an Magnum SRT-8, and then proceeded to dump thousands into souping it up. The car was like nothing I had ever experienced before. I started saving my money for my own LX. I could never afford the payment on a new SRT, so I went for an RT in hopes I could one day soup it up. The RT I chose was used, but had been a guy's baby. I'm no stranger to fast cars, and on the test drive I think the dealer saw his life flash before his eyes. Big perks for me on this car when I bought it were the fact that it had all three options packages, though I rarely use some of the options like the hands-free phone and sunroof. The deal clinchers for me on this particular car were the heated and leather seats. However, finding an R/T RT with all three options packages with low mileage at the time was not an easy task, and the price was right.
