2007 Dodge Dakota - I love it.
I love my Dodge Dakota! I was looking for a small truck and this fit my needs perfectly. It was just the right size for me and my needs. It has the feeling of a Truck plus the comfort of a car, which made driving for long distances very comfortable. I was also able to keep items in the bed of the truck for easy access. I have had 2 Dodge Dakotas and will probably continue to buy them.
Story
It was great to haul wood to my property for Bonfires and for going to the beach.
Pros
Just the right size for me. The bed was not to high for me to reach into it to get items kept there. Because of that, I was able to wash both of my big dogs in the bed without hurting my back. The gas mileage was good and the bed size was perfect for moving furniture, picking up big items and hauling stuff to the dump.
Cons
I wish the back seat was larger.
2004 Dodge Dakota - My Truck
The truck is built strong and durable.
The four wheel drive is a plus for towing and camping.
The interior is easy to maintain and looks brand new after 40,000.
The engine has a very satisfying, throaty V8 sound.
The electronic door opener also locks and unlocks the tailgate. This is a great bonus.
The quad cab has plenty of room inside and can seat six people, but is most comfortable with only four.
Because it has a V8 engine the gas mileage is not the great, especially running errands around town.
Story
Towing this truck to Colorado was a very fun and memorable moment because once we got there, the 4X4 truck with the V8 engine was a great vehicle to travel in the mountains with.
Pros
My favorite features are the four wheel drive and that the remote not only unlocks and locks the doors, but the tailgate, too.
The 4X4 makes this truck easy to tow behind my motorhome for traveling adventures.
Cons
The most negative thing about this vehicle is the poor gas mileage, but the gas mileage is sacrificed for the power of the V8 engine.
