I like the exterior design of the Grand Caravan. I have put over 130,000 miles on the van with no major mechanical failures, only maintenance or cosmetic.
Story
Driving the kids to Atlanta to go to the Atlanta Zoo. We drove 5 hours non stop both ways with zero comfort issues.
Pros
Pros of the Grand Caravan are extremely reliable. This van has made numerous road trips with us. You can easily fit a family of four with a dog and 20-gallon reptile tank and tons of luggage comfortably for a 16-hour road trip. The stow n go feature is a huge plus. In the winter bulky jackets can be stored once inside. The ease of flipping the third-row seating makes it easy to create storage for shopping bags so they don't slide around.
Cons
The suspension is the only mechanical issue we've had after 130,000 miles. Cosmetically, the plastic trim pieces on the outside of the doors seem to break and fly off with stress. We've had to replace two. It is difficult to get to the spare tire as well if you need to. Some of the climate control buttons and the cruise control buttons can be finicky.

My Dodge Caravan is not what I had hoped it would be at all. It is a 2010 model that I purchased in 2012. Shortly after the purchase, my transmission tore up. It was still under warranty, so I took it too a dealership. It took over three months for them to repair my van. I got it back, and on the same day, it tore up again. I promptly returned it for more service, and it took another six weeks to get it back. The warranty has since expired, and now it acting up again. It makes horrible noises, but I am stuck with it for now. I do like the size and the doors that are electronic. I like that stow-and-go seats. My family and I went on vacation, and it was great to be able to fit everything in the van. My children love the outlet that is in the back, so they can always keep their phones an... (more)
Story
We went on vacation to Daytona Beach, FL. This is about a seven-hour drive for us. The children were all able to fit. There stuff was able to fit. It was good.
Pros
Stow-and-go seating is great. The outlet in the back. Electronic doors.
Cons
The transmission. The black color. Dodge service.

I like how they have much lower prices than any other dealer around. They are able to give in some leeway when working out a deal on buying a new car. We bought from them also because of their friendly staff.

The dealership was great because the customer service was phenomenal. It was by far the best, and the people there were more than willing to work to get the best deal for all parties involved.
