Roomy vehicle, great on trips.
I purchased this vehicle so I could have a comfortable, roomy vehicle to go on trips with. I also wanted it for secondary uses such as easily transporting bikes to locations and to have some extra room to carry larger items. My Dodge Journey has worked great for me for these purposes. I have also had very little problems with the vehicle in terms of break downs or maintenance. Also, so far the exterior and interior have stayed together well from a cosmetic perspective.

Very pleased
Overall I am very happy with this vehicle. We are a family of five and this car has been great up until now. With smaller children, this vehicle has been perfect. Plenty of leg room for everyone. Now that my kids are getting older and bigger, leg room is definitely becoming and issue. All interior aspects of the car have been great with the exception of the power locks. The power locks on the driver's side, both front and rear, no longer work. This is certainly an inconvenience after only 50,000 miles, but that is the only interior problem I have experienced. As far as the powertrain, I have had no problems. I currently have 65,000 mile on the vehicle and no engine or transmission problems outside of a cracked coolant reservoir which I replaced myself for a cost of $30 for the part and about 10 minutes of my time. Fuel economy of this vehicle has been great considering the number of passengers I usually carry. A round trip from NJ to Florida, with five passengers and a lot of luggage, consumed approximately 160 gallons of gas total. Not too bad considering some other vehicles I have owned which would have easily doubled that.
