Buick Skylark OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

Before, I had a Chevrolet S10 truck and had many problems with it. I traded it in for the Buick Skylark despite knowing the model year was much older than the Chevy. Despite reservations, the car's ride is smoother than any I've felt before.
My Buick Skylark model year 1996 came from a used car lot near where I live. I originally decided to make the change when my Chevrolet S10 proved too difficult to drive in winter conditions. Friends of mine recommended the used car lot where I made the trade; service was reliable and the cars were certified to be in good condition. Initially wary at first about trading for a car so old, my fears were groundless as the car handled very well during winter. Never giving me a problem like so many others in rainy weather.
My family as well expressed disappointment for my choosing a Buick since they were drivers of Chevrolet vehicles of all makes and models. I never much cared for the Chevrolet brand, preferring now the ease and comfort of a Buick sedan. I’d never liked the ride of cars owned by my family and friends, finding them rough on uneven roads and murderous on potholes.
Sometimes, me and my passengers make jokes that my Buick ‘flies’ as the acceleration is perfect and the brakes react swiftly for stoplights. Most cars I’ve seen try to match my speed, but, I just leave them behind in my dust. :)

Its old and an old lady car but it works so its ok
My car is a 4 door sedan, larger. Its green, and it was owned by an older woman who didn't drive it very often, so when I got it had low mileage, and was in good shape aside from a few scratches and dings from her hitting walls when backing up into her garage. It was cheap and it gets me where I need to go so I can't complain too much. It looks ok on the outside and I'm not ashamed of it.

Buick Skylark - Personal Thoughts
I am reviewing a 1992 Buick Skylark that was purchased in cash new by my grandfather who later on when I turned 16 gave it to me as my first car. I am 21 now, and am still using he vehicle. For being as old as it is now, it has provided with a lot of good memories. It has taken me all around where I live, and up and down the west coast of the country a total of two times round trip. It has always been a comfortable car, with a relaxed feel to it, and an easy going ride. Unfortunately, it has also had its downsides. Over the past couple years I have had car problems that have ranged from overheating to completely shutting down on me when I have come to a stop. It is a pity, because I have really enjoyed the vehicle, but I can't blame it as any vehicle that old you would expect these problems to occur.
