A huge upgrade from my previous Stratus
I received the Chrysler 200 after having owned a 2004 Stratus for around ten years. Though I absolutely loved my Stratus - she was alliteratively and lovingly named Sadie Stratus - I have to admit that my 200 is substantially better than her predecessor. Tawny 200 (have to keep the alliteration going, naturally) is a smooth ride with an interior that blows Sadie out of the water. I love the old school clock right in the center of the dash and also utilize the menu button on my left steering wheel very often. I cannot tell you how convenient it is to click that menu button and be able to see the temperature, the tire levels, the CD track I'm listening to and how many miles per gallon I'm getting on my trips. Beyond that, it's a beautiful car. I can't help but admire the silver grill when I'm walking up to it, and I do feel pretty swanky when I have my arm hanging out of the window while I'm cruising down Gratiot. The AC is even better than my old Stratus, and the interior is much more modern. In the summer my seats don't heat up enough to be uncomfortable and so far, I haven't had any issues with the car. I would definitely recommend it to anybody and I hope to have it for many years to come.

Let the wind flow through your hair
I am a first-time Chrysler buyer and typically pick European or Japanese brands. I have to say that once I drove the 200, I absolutely loved it. The press has been bashing the car, but I wonder how many of the "experts" actually drove it. The throttle tip-in has been criticized as too quick, quality too-low, fuel-efficiency not good enough, and styling "behind competition." Has anyone seen and actually compared the competition feature for feature? The bottom line is that the 200 isn't a perfect car, but it is one that has a lot of character and quality to it. There is something very genuine about it. It's an underdog that over delivers by my count. When price is considered, it's a clear win.
