PT Cruiser - For A Certain Personality Type
The PT Cruiser is a unique car that fits in with unique people. I know that a lot of people really hated the look of it when it came out, and I was originally one of those people. However, when I came to own one, I realized how biased my opinions were. The interior was clean when I first purchased it, no cracks or dents in the dash, everything included save for the CD player. Over time it's held up exceptionally well and only recently sustained two cracks due to the humid heat that we have in our state. The engine has held up for 118600 miles thus far, and I just got the oil changed about two months ago. It drives smoothly though my particular vehicle has a problem at the back that makes the spare tire rack rattle. It's probably not indicative of the rest of the PT Cruisers, but it's something that occasionally gets on my nerves. My only real complaint about my car is the fact that it's so low to the ground that sometimes if I'm going out of a particularly steep driveway, the black trim underneath the bottom catches the road concrete. This always makes a horrible scraping sound and grates my nerves, but my father, who is my mechanic, has told me that it's harmless. I'm a computer technician, and the fact that I have a hatchback is awesome. I'm easily able to get my equipment into and out of the back, and the upper rack that was provided with the vehicle provides even more space for other things that I can cram in there. The back seat also lets down which lets me store long panduit and conduit if I need to transport.

Mediocre PT Cruiser
I went to the dealership and purchased my PT Cruiser in April 2015. It honestly wasn't my first choice but the only vehicle that was in my price range. I had just been in a car accident that left me without a vehicle so I felt like I had no choice but to quickly find another vehicle. When I first saw the PT Cruiser at the dealership I immediately thought to myself, that's a ugly little car. I don't really care for the small body. I prefer a full size vehicle. When I test drove the PT Cruiser it was just okay. It had a slow take off as I have noticed seems to be the case with most vehicles made by Chrysler. Sometimes I push the gas a little hard expecting to take right off. Big fail. I absolutely do not like the tiny trunk. I can never get all of my groceries into the small space. I usually en up having to put some things on the back seat. If I'm running errands and need to go to more than one store I usually have to make a trip home midway to drop some things off because anyone can walk up to your car and visibly see what's inside the trunk. Overall, the PT Cruiser is not my favorite vehicle. If a person is just looking for a small simple vehicle this is the vehicle for them.
