Used 2017 Chrysler Pacifica for Sale

We purchased this vehicle because we recently had two children and needed to be able to fit and easily access two car seats plus have space for groceries and other cargo. As far as fulfilling these requirements goes, the Chrysler Pacifica has been a wonderful choice. We use the back bench seat for one car seat and the passenger side middle seat for the other. We keep the driver side middle seat in the stow and go storage unless we are transporting enough people to need it. This allows both of my children to be able to get into their seats themselves and gives me easy access to each in order to secure them in with their belts. The stow and go storage has also been wonderful for the two long road trips that we have taken so far. The floor space allows me to sit in the back with the girls and also access a cooler and bags with toys and activities. There is no charging port for my phone in the back, but after purchasing a long charging cord, I could use the port in the front and still sit in the back. The van does not get very good gas mileage in the city with all the stop and go (about 15 mpg), but does quite well on the highway, getting close to 30 mpg at 70 -75 mph. I also really appreciate the automatic doors. It is nice to get the doors open as I approach the van so the kids can get in while I put things away. The shifting is not as smooth as I would like sometimes and can actually be a bit jerky. Sometimes you need to press the gas pedal a bit hard to get up to speed when entering a freeway, but overall, the ride is pretty smooth and the vehicle can take turns more tightly than you might expect for its size.

When we were looking to upgrade our current minivan, we went to see a number of different options that we thought would be what we where looking for. We looked at the Honda and Toyota options before checking out the Pacifica. Overall, we liked the Honda the best for quality and ride comfort, but the price was a good amount more then the Pacifica. We decided for the price savings it was worth it to go with the Pacifica over the other two options. We have not had the new minivan for that long but are already really concerned about the over build quality and how long this vehicle will last us. We have had a couple of trim pieces already break off and noises coming from the engine that have had to go into the dealer for warranty work. This was not what I would expect from a two-year-old car. Since it is warranty work, they will not give us a rental car when the car is there for a day or two getting fixed, which really makes us upset and unhappy. When we bought this car, we knew what we were doing so with cost saving in mind, but so far, we have been surprised on how cheap this car feels. There are some good points, like the seating is comfortable and the navigation works well. I like the styling of the car, but the ride quality leaves much to be desired also. I am starting to think the old saying you get what you pay for is really becoming a reality for us.
