The biggest draw for me with the Dodge Ram is the size. I am tall and have plenty of room in this vehicle. I appreciate the bench seats in the front and the amount of leg/head room I have. This vehicle had ample power for both acceleration and passing. The vehicle has a nice "beefy" look with good ground clearance. The drive is a bit bumpy as you expect from a truck, although some people appreciate that in a truck in that it lets you "feel that road." This truck has been able to haul/tow anything I expected of it including a boat, other cars, gravel, etc. There were no unexpected repairs needed to the vehicle. One downside is the paint started to chip/peel and the trim pieces started to fall off. In addition, small areas of rust can be seen after about 8 years of ownership. Overall, the vehicle was mechanically sound and capable and I appreciate the styling. On the downside, the paint, clear coat, and trim did not hold up to the test of time.
