Found on road dead
The interior of the vehicle is great. Leather seats with both heating and cooling still working after 150K+ miles, front and rear A/C, seats are comfortable and the front seats are highly adjustable. Has enough power to get up and go and also enough power to tow. Accessibility to the back seat is OK, middle row edge seats lift up, and there is ample leg room in both the second and third row seats. Storage in back is great! Most of the time the Expedition only has about 12" behind the rear seat, but this one has four feet. Third row seat is split in a 2:1 setup, and we often put the single seat down and slid in a monster cooler. Our family of seven used this vehicle for long road trips and needed a roof top bag if we were bringing bedding. The down side is that it blew a cylinder just after 150K. Turns out the engine design is poor, and the oil consistently doesn't make it to the top of the engine. Dealership wanted $11K to replace with the same defective design engine. Needless to say, it is now a piece of yard art waiting to be scrapped. Sounds like it is common for these engines to die between 100K and 150K miles. I guess we should be glad ours made it to high end.

Does what I need.
The sun visor was better on the Explorer I owned. I liked the instrument arrangement better on the Explorer, and the ignition key position was better.
