GMC Sierra 2500 OWNER RATINGS & REVIEWS

Good car
For 2017, the GMC Sierra 2500 doesn't change much, and that's not necessarily a negative. A previously optional seven-inch touchscreen (with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto) is now standard, but there are updates to powertrains, suspension or features availability. That means that the 2500HD is still well-built and high-class and as utilitarian as it needs to be. It also means you can still get tech items such as the user-friendly Interlink infotainment interface or the optional Driver Alert package, which adds parking sensors, lane departure warning and forward collision warning.

The engine is just okay
The GMC Sierra 2500 is a pretty good utility vehicle. It tows a trailer with little effort and is a very comfortable ride. The cab is large with plenty of room for tall passengers. Engine repairs have been minimal but the gauges are not well made. They started to malfunction at about 75,000 miles and the dealer refused to fix them despite the fact that there had been a recall and the same problems with newer trucks. When it gets cold me speedometer does not work and the oil gauge has stopped working altogether.

I love my truck.
I have had many vehicles in my life, and this is by far one of the best. I have traveled all over across the United States. I learned a long time ago that if you just get a car that is cute or has good looks, you are just setting yourself up for a world of trouble and hurt. I bought a used GMC truck that is a collectors, and it is wonderful It is built like a tank and is very dependable. I payed 1,000 dollars for it and have had it for seven years now.
