Used Nissan Xterra for Sale

The vehicle, overall, is a decent vehicle. It drives like a truck and fits the family, groceries, stroller and pets.

This is a very good vehicle that has a decent resale value. I brought it used in 2010 with about 50,000 miles. I have had for 8 years, and it now has about 140,000 miles. It is very dependable and reliable with few maintenance issues. I had to replace brake pads but that happens. I have a few other low cost issues but nothing surprising or very expensive. I love the four-wheel drive during the Maine winter storms. I feel very confident driving this vehicle on slippery roads. One minor complaint is the back seat row as there does not appear to be a lot space for people or their feet. The fuel mileage is not great. The seats in the back fold flat when you need to transport long or bulky items. The engine is powerful and does not hesitate when going uphill. The cargo area in back is fairly small, but you should notice that before you choose this vehicle so I was okay with it. It has a roof rack which has comes in handy at times. You sit higher than most cars and I like that higher vantage point in traffic. The driver seat is comfortable. I like the design the vehicle, it certainly looks good. The suspension is great as the rides have always been comfortable. It has two charging outlets for your phones or whatever.

I wasn't sure about my Xterra at first. It was tall, I felt like I had to jump into it, but it has been the best vehicle I have ever owned. Its going on 110,000 miles too. It is incredibly reliable, I have not had any major issues, and I can handle any bad weather situation. There were snow storms where I was the only one that could get out! It has enough storage for my kids stuff and I can make grocery runs with it. Despite its size, the mileage is even decent. The pickup on the highway is outstanding as well.
