The used 1986 Pontiac 6000 had an automatic transmission, and when shifting into gear I'd hear a strong clunk. With a 4-cylinder engine, it had weak acceleration but was fairly decent on gas mileage. For a smaller car, it had a surprisingly roomy interior with comfortable cloth seats. It was reliable for short commute and errands, and required little maintenance aside from routine oil changes. Eventually the brakes and suspension became worn, and had difficulty starting. The effort and costs to fix the car exceeded its value, and it was scrapped for $200. Overall, it was a good vehicle to drive for a span of 2 years. It was relatively safe, except for in winter driving conditions. I enjoyed the stupid retro look of the car.

My car performs greatly. I have had it for about five years now and have not had a single problem with it yet. I would recommend it to anyone who was interested in a reliable car that had good gas mileage and also looked good as well.

I find this car to be extremely reliable. I live in Wisconsin and it always starts on the coldest of day. The car gets great gas mileage. It is small enough to park in the city but has enough room for my family. I bought this car used and the previous owner seems to have taken very good care of this car. I intend to do the same because this is a car I would like to keep for years to come. The car came with power window and power locks. It has trunk and fuel tank open lock from inside the car. Repairs are easy to make by myself and the repairs that I can not make are not to expensive to deal with. The car came with a very nice pioneer stereo system. I wish that the car had some of the modern features such as built in GPS, Security system, Auto start, And some warning signals But it is a car from its age. Overall I would definitely recommend this car to my friends and family if I was asked about it
