Great starter
I was in an accident two years ago and this was the car I got afterwards. It runs very smoothly and has easy maintenance. Like every vehicle it has its pros and cons but this come out to be a great car and is especially amazing for teenagers first car. Excellent for long distance travel and small families.

Affordable and reliable
I bought this car on the cheap. It isn't particularly pretty, but in the sixty-thousand miles that I have put on it, it hasn't given me even one problem that was outside of normal maintenance. In this time period, outside of regular oil changes and replacing some brake pads, I haven't had to do any other maintenance nor replace any parts on the vehicle. There seems to be a manufacturing error with the key for this vehicle, as I have broken two of them inside the ignition. They always break in the same spot, so I assume it is either a manufacturing or an engineering failure. In total, if you want a cheap and reliable car, that isn't too ugly, this one will do the trick. Just give it the care it needs and it will take care of you for years to come.

Sixteen Years and Counting
My appreciation for my Saturn has a strong emotional context. It began with my appreciation of the buying experience, which was free from the usual anxiety, defensiveness, and suspicion which usually prevailed in a visit to an auto showroom. The car itself was a tidy, shiny gem to me; a symbol, not of conspicuous consumption, but of safety and strength: I had a car that wouldn't leave me stranded; I had a car, to get me to work and to hold my groceries and to take me home. And for sixteen years, it's been doing just that. I kept it maintained, and I had no major issues or problems.
The minor issues? After fifteen years of continuous use, I had to replace the battery in the keyless-entry remote. And at around the same time, the headliner began to fall. More recently, I have experienced a buzzy-sounding rattle, which turned out to be a loose heat shield.
I bought my Saturn for practical reasons, but my appreciation for it runs far beyond that. I couldn't have had a better ride these past years.
