Overwhelmed and Underwhelmed
My vehicle was used when I first came into possession of it. It's currently right on the cusp of reaching 200,000 miles and I'd say I have more or less at least gotten my money from it. It only has two doors, but there is a backseat area. It's a slight annoyance to have to get out of the driver seat first so the back passengers can exit. But despite there being only two doors and enough room for four additional passengers, I would consider the Toyota Solara to be quite roomy.

Affordable convertible that seats 4.
I bought this car on a whim after my last car died, and thought I'd indulge my midlife crisis with a convertible. It had nearly 200,000 miles on it, but was a Toyota, so thought I'd take a chance. It lasted well for about an additional 40,000K, but now is having so many problems that I'm going to have to junk it. But, it was worth the $3,000K I paid for it! The Solara is a Toyota Camry, so runs and feels very much like the popular Camry. The difference, aside from the automatic convertible top, is that there is a very small trunk. The car is comfortable, rides well, has nice leather seats, and seats four adults easily once they climb in through one of the two front doors (2 door car). It is also very stylish when the roof is down, and, while being 15 years old, impresses people upon first glance that I've gone and bought an expensive car. That said, with the roof up, it looks like a smaller version of a Camry with a soft top, and is indistinguishable from 100s of other cars at the grocery store. When I get rid of this Camry Solara, I have no plans to buy another used one. It's just not practical enough for me -- I can't fit all my groceries in the trunk, the roof leaks, and I'm sick of having to get out of this two-seater car to let my kids into the back seat.
